Role Description AECOM’s Technology Solutions Group (TSG) is seeking a OSP Engineer / Project Manager to join our Global Fiber Team. This position is also open to remote work. Qualifications - BA/BS degree in a Technology or related field from an accredited college/university + 8 years of relevant experience, or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education. - 8+ years of design experience with ICT infrastructure. - Experience in Project Management. Requirements - Registered Communication Distribution Designer (RCDD) – BICSI. - Outside Plant Specialist (OSP) – BICSI. - ICT and Network hardware and systems proficiency. - Professional experience and/or proficiency in various software products, including but not limited to, Revit, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Visio Professional, Bluebeam Extreme (Revu), ArcGIS, ArcGIS Survey123, Microsoft Project, Smartsheets, and other ICT Specific Programs. - Demonstrated experience in managing Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) in accordance with the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) 38-22 Standard Guideline for Investigating and Documenting Existing Utilities - or international equivalent. - Develop accurate plan and profile drawings and utility conflict matrices. - Identify constructability risks and provide field-based recommendations to reduce design liability. - Understanding of permitting and regulatory processes for telecom projects. - Previous work with international telecom projects and multi-stakeholder engagements. - Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. - Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES The Permit Coordinator is responsible for the tracking, submittals, communication, presentation, feasibility study, and research of all aerial / UG ROW permitting associated with fiber optic utility installation.
