The Role We are seeking an experienced Security Architect to design and implement secure architectures across enterprise systems, cloud platforms, and connected technologies. You will work closely with engineering, product, and delivery teams to embed security into system design, ensuring solutions are secure, scalable, and compliant with industry standards. This role requires both deep technical expertise and strong stakeholder collaboration skills to translate security requirements into practical, implementable solutions. You will support projects across cloud infrastructure, applications, and platform engineering environments while helping teams embed security into modern development practices such as DevSecOps. Responsibilities - Design and implement secure architectures for enterprise platforms, applications, and cloud environments - Consult on business and technology initiatives to ensure appropriate security controls are embedded from design through delivery - Conduct security risk assessments and provide recommendations throughout the development lifecycle - Define and document security patterns, architectures, and best practices - Support engineering teams with security design across infrastructure, applications, databases, and network platforms - Embed security into modern development workflows including Agile, DevOps, and DevSecOps - Ensure solutions align with security standards, policies, and industry frameworks - Design and oversee security testing and assurance activities - Improve the efficiency, automation, and performance of security capabilities - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop secure and scalable solutions Required Skills & Experience Security Architecture - Strong experience designing enterprise security architectures - Experience implementing Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions - Knowledge of infrastructure security, application security, and system hardening - Experience architecting secure integrations and distributed systems Cloud & Platform Security - Experience securing cloud infrastructure and modern platform architectures - Knowledge of Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS) - Familiarity with Web Application Firewalls (WAF) and Content Delivery Networks (CDN) Application & System Security Experience with: - Operating system hardening - Endpoint security - Network security - Application and web security - Database security - Privileged access management Security Standards & Frameworks Familiarity with major security frameworks including: - PCI-DSS - ISO 27001 - NIST security frameworks Threat & Risk Management - Strong understanding of modern security threats and mitigation strategies - Experience with threat modelling and frameworks such as: - Cyber Kill Chain - MITRE ATT&CK DevSecOps - Experience embedding security within the software development lifecycle - Understanding of DevOps practices and secure development pipelines Collaboration - Strong communication and stakeholder management skills - Ability to work effectively with globally distributed teams - Experience partnering with engineering and business stakeholders to deliver secure solutions

As a Blockchain Security Engineer on the Decentralized Financial Security Team, you will work closely with engineers, technical product managers and senior leadership on designing secure products from the ground up.
