Location:  Flexible within the United States OPPORTUNITY The Product Manager will define, build, evangelize, and continuously improve ANet’s product line in service of educational equity, translating organizational strategy into a muti-year product roadmap that balances user impact, technical feasibility, and financial sustainability. TRAVEL Up to 2-3 times a year RESPONSIBILITIES Lead a thoughtful product development process end-to-end - Validate hypotheses for how to increase the impact of ANet products - Identify and frame critical product questions, define success metrics, and extract insights from complex quantitative and qualitative data to inform strategic and operational decisions - Define user flows and designs  - Develop and manage the product roadmap, proactively identifying tradeoffs, sequencing priorities across teams, and recommending resource allocation decisions that maximize organizational impact - Communicate a clear and compelling product vision across technical and non-technical audiences, facilitate decision-making discussions that surface tradeoffs and risks, and ensure alignment between day-to- day execution and broader organizational strategy  - Identify legacy functionality that no longer delivers value for users - Lead cross-functional product launches, aligning engineering, content, operations, sales, and partner-facing teams through structured decision-making processes and proactive stakeholder engagement    Further develop the Product Management function at ANet - Establish scalable product discovery, prioritization and feedback systems that increase clarity, efficiency and impact across teams  - Contribute to the design of a product learning trajectory that builds the team's skills and perspectives on core product management competencies - Prioritize research to stay abreast of market trends, key issues, and competitors, elevating critical insights across the Evaluate product investments through an ROI and impact lens, making recommendations that balance innovation with responsible stewardship of organizational resources  REQUIREMENTS & COMPETENCIES In order to be successful in this role, candidates must demonstrate the following: - Expertise in area of focus:  - At least 5 years of experience as a product manager with a strong understanding of agile product discovery and development practices - Strong understanding of a variety of software development practices, a good intuition for complexity level estimation for different types of software requests, and the ability to quickly and thoroughly reach super-user status with a variety of software solutions - Critical Thinking & Data Orientation:  - Demonstrated ability to extract sophisticated insights from complex data sets, anticipate downstream implications for multiple stakeholders, and advocate for decisions grounded in evidence  - Planning and Prioritization:  - Demonstrated ability to frame and oversee complex, cross-functional initiatives, aligning stakeholders around shared goals while proactively mitigating risks and dependencies Breaks down work tasks/projects into process steps and executes them effectively, adjusting course as needed - Communication:  - Ability to influence and align diverse stakeholders - including senior leaders - by tailoring communication, surfacing tradeoffs, and facilitating clear and timely decision-making  Ideal candidates may also demonstrate the following preferred qualifications: - Expertise in area of focus:  - Experience in K-12 education, Ed Tech, or the nonprofit space COMPENSATION The salary range for this position is between $99,144- $148,716. New hires will start between the range minimum and midpoint ($99,144 - $123,930) based on qualifications assessed during the hiring process, past experience, and internal equity. In order to uphold our commitment to transparent, equitable, competitive, and sustainable compensation, ANet does not negotiate pay. Role Description The Product Manager will drive discovery, experimentation, vision, strategy, and delivery across one of our many technical products. Our technical products cover the entire insurance value chain, enabling frictionless customer and agent experiences during shopping, quoting, servicing, and claims processing. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, engineering, or equivalent practical experience in product management. - Minimum 3+ years product management and/or product design. - 3+ years managing complex initiatives from initiation to completion using product management processes and best practices. - Experience in defining and implementing product metrics to track performance and success. - Experience handling all stages of product delivery. - Experience representing various customers and stakeholders during planning. - Preferred: 2+ years experience in working with rating platform and rules engine. - Preferred: 2+ years experience in building software platforms in insurance for business-critical functions such as rating, underwriting, and insurance configuration. - Preferred: 1+ years of advanced knowledge of Guidewire product models specifically working on Guidewire Policy Center. - Preferred: 2+ years experience working with Property & Casualty insurance platform.
