AP Manager

About this role We are looking for an AP Manager to join the company’s Corporate Accounting team and support the company’s continued growth. You will lead efforts to strengthen accounts payable controls and streamline processes to support our operational efficiency and reporting requirements as the business scales. Working closely with senior finance leadership, you will oversee the end-to-end AP function, ensure timely and accurate invoice processing and payments, enhance internal controls, and support month-end close activities related to payables, including accruals and reconciliations. What you’ll do - Manage and develop the Accounts Payable team, including hiring, training, and performance management - Oversee end-to-end AP process including invoice intake, coding, approvals, and payment processing - Ensure timely payment of vendors in accordance with payment terms - Monitor aging reports and resolve discrepancies - Ensure compliance with company policies and GAAP - Support external audit requests - Oversee 1099 reporting and compliance - Optimize AP workflows and automation tools (e.g., ERP, AP software) - Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce manual processes, and mitigate risk - Partner cross-functionally to streamline procurement-to-pay processes - Ensure accurate AP accruals and support month-end close  - Provide reporting and analysis related to payables and cash disbursements What we’re looking for - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field - 5–8+ years of progressive accounts payable experience - Strong knowledge of GAAP - Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team - Strong attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Nice to have - Experience in digital healthcare - Experience with NetSuite - Exposure to system implementations or AP automation initiatives  - Experience managing multi-state or multi-currency payables As a remote position, the salary range for this role is: $95,000—$115,000 USD Who we are Transcarent is the One Place for Health and Careᵀᴹ, bringing medical, pharmacy, and point solutions together with the WayFindingᵀᴹ experience, the first and only generative AI-powered health and care platform for health consumers.
