Role Description Carlisle Weatherproofing Technologies is seeking a Building Code Compliance Specialist to collaborate with Product Management, R&D, Manufacturing, Sales, and Marketing to ensure that Henry products and systems meet all applicable regulatory, certification and approvals requirements. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: - Collaborate with project teams to initiate and manage certification projects with external testing laboratories and agencies, including UL, Factory Mutual, Miami-Dade County, ICC-ES, CRRC, and Florida Product Approval. - Oversee code compliance and product certification documentation, ensuring that all updates are accurately communicated across the entire Business Unit, ensure projects are updated in Wrike. - Assist in developing test programs, identify gaps in listings, aid in building test assemblies if necessary, and travel to test labs to oversee building and testing processes as a technical lead. - Actively participate in industry association meetings to ensure the best interests of the Company are considered in the development programs and to support Henry Company strategy. - Deliver status reports and report milestones to the Codes & Compliance Manager according to the established schedule and at key project milestones or special communication needs. Requirements - This is a full-time salaried position with a flexible work schedule, including variable but substantial overtime and weekend work. - The position will be based either at the Company’s Kimberton, Pennsylvania facility, or in a home office in the candidate’s residence. - In addition to the standard office environment, this position involves occasional work at manufacturing facilities and job sites typical of the construction trade. - Moderate amounts of travel to Company facilities and other locations in the United States and Canada is required. - Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the position.
