• Own and prioritize the product backlog for assigned platforms or initiatives • Translate complex business and regulatory requirements into clear, structured user stories and acceptance criteria • Partner closely with Engineering to ensure solutions are technically sound, scalable, and aligned with architectural standards • Drive sprint planning, backlog refinement, release coordination, and delivery predictability • Reduce ambiguity and proactively resolve requirement gaps before development • Ensure product enhancements improve revenue performance, underwriting efficiency, sales conversion, or operational throughput • Define initiative-level success metrics and monitor post-release performance • Identify workflow bottlenecks and recommend scalable system improvements • Support data-driven prioritization decisions grounded in ROI and risk considerations • Serve as the connective tissue between business stakeholders and technical teams • Facilitate alignment across Sales, Operations, Risk, Compliance, Finance, and Engineering • Confidently engage in executive or cross-departmental forums when needed • Manage stakeholder expectations with transparency and discipline • Incorporate compliance, risk, and audit considerations into product design • Ensure solutions meet regulatory and internal control standards • Partner with Legal and Risk teams to mitigate exposure while maintaining speed • Contribute to continuous improvement of product processes, documentation standards, and delivery practices • Promote strong requirement quality and structured decision-making • Support scalable product operations as the organization grows.

Job Requirements

  • 6–10+ years of experience in a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role
  • Experience in fintech, lending, financial services, or other regulated/risk-managed environments strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated track record of delivering measurable business outcomes in revenue-generating or operationally critical systems
  • Deep experience managing Agile backlogs and partnering with engineering teams
  • Strong understanding of sales systems, underwriting workflows, or financial processing systems
  • Experience working with API-based integrations and distributed systems
  • Strong analytical skills with comfort interpreting data to inform prioritization
  • Ability to operate independently, manage complexity, and create clarity in ambiguous environments
  • High ownership mindset with strong accountability for delivery outcomes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
