Technical Implementation Consultant – Proofpoint Supervision
Proofpoint
• Act as a subject matter expert for Supervision and Digital Compliance customers, guiding them through regulatory requirements and best practices. • Coordinate with internal departments and partners to drive complex deployments and ensure timely project completion. • Collaborate with customers to solve unique compliance use cases, sharing best practices to maximize the value of the Supervision platform. • Work with the team to prioritize functions and determine avenues to streamline and optimize review processes via scripting or advanced policy logic. • Act as the bridge between Professional Services and Product Management and Engineering to provide feedback on Supervision product updates and feature requests. • Assist Proofpoint Sales teams with scoping prospective Supervision projects to ensure accurate project scoping and statements of work.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant consulting experience, preferably within the financial services or regulated industry sectors.
- Strong preference given to previous direct Supervision-related experience.
- Proven ability to manage multiple customer engagements concurrently while maintaining quality, meeting deadlines, and balancing shifting priorities.
- Ability to translate legal and compliance requirements into effective technical detection policies using tools such as regular expressions, Boolean logic, and proximity operators.
- Experience working with Active Directory and Azure Active Directory to model and map complex user hierarchies, roles, and attributes.
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate large datasets, reduce false positives (“noise”), and optimize compliance review workflows.
- Familiarity with data governance and privacy regulations (e.g., FINRA, SEC, GDPR) as they apply to electronic communications monitoring.
- Experience using PowerShell for administration, automation, and troubleshooting; familiarity with Power Query and VBScript for data transformation, reporting, and workflow support.
- Hands-on experience consuming RESTful APIs for data extraction, system integration, and process automation, including authentication methods and basic error handling.
- Proven experience supporting software for Fortune 500 or other large-scale global customers.

About the Role Reporting into the Manager of Dealer Implementations, the Implementations Configuration Specialist plays an integral role in ensuring our Dealer Partners' Program configuration requirements are met appropriately for a successful launch.
