• Interview users to determine business needs. • Work with project manager to determine time estimates and production schedules for approved projects. • Design, construct, test/debug, implement and document databases and computer programs. • Lead small projects when needed. • Maintain existing applications by supporting users, troubleshooting problems and resolving them. • Produce revisions to databases and computer programs. • Proactively communicate project status and or issues to management. • Research and recommend software development tools and methods. • Participate in development of IT standards and procedures. • Maintain knowledge of current and emerging technologies. • Conduct user training as required.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent combination education and experience.
- Three or more years of experience in one or more of the following:
- Programming languages such as Java, Apex, Python, C#, or similar.
- Database concepts and basic SQL query writing.
- Modern web development using HTML5, CSS3, and Javascript.
- API tools and concepts.
- Ability to lead small projects.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and conceptual skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well with others within and across the organization.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with an ability to express moderately complex technical concepts in business terms.
- Familiarity with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or Experience Cloud.
- Experience in one or more of the following:
- Software as a Service (SaaS) Administration/Development.
- Agile Development Methodologies.
- SOLID Design Principles.
- Software Testing.
- Software development lifecycle and version control systems.
