Role Description As a Global Supply Planning Senior Manager, you will serve as the strategic leader shaping and activating collaborative supply plans that deliver speed, flexibility, reliability, and growth for Target Owned Brands. You will operate at the intersection of Planning & Inventory Management, Sourcing, and global vendor partners, strategically aligning supply & capacity to merchant and sourcing strategies. You will support multiple divisions, influence senior cross-functional leaders and global teams to drive OB supply resilience, inform sourcing decisions, and enable enterprise-level outcomes. Core Responsibilities: - Develop and Execute Upstream Supply Strategies: - Design and activate upstream supply and inventory strategies that ensure surety of supply and enable faster response to risk signals. - Evaluate business context, demand volatility, lead times, vendor capability, and liability exposure to determine the right supply model (e.g., read and react, inventory stocking). - Lead Long Range and Capacity Planning: - Deliver the 3-year OB plan that aligns merchant plans with sourcing strategies. - Provide factory level capacity visibility where it matters most for sourcing, PSQA, and production governance. - These plans provide the strategic foundation for investment decisions, risk mitigation, and supply continuity. - Own Collaborative Supply Planning: - Partner with PIM, Sourcing, and vendors to create upstream supply strategies, including order flow tactics, stocking strategies, safety stock, postponement, and read and react activation. - Shape routines and communication cadences that align upstream production decisions with downstream receipt needs. - Enable Visibility through In Season Visibility: - Provide timely visibility to production status, call date milestones, lead times, constraints, risks, and WIP/finished goods positions to anticipate issues before they occur. - Deliver Performance Reporting & Insights: - Create and maintain measurable KPIs connected to speed, flexibility, reliability, and business impact, ensuring strategy activation is grounded in data. - Contribute to building and scaling Global Supply Planning in Owned Brands. - Establish processes, tools, and operating models that elevate global supply planning as a strategic enabler. - Own GSP deployment within your pyramid and drive capability iteration through ongoing feedback, projects, and captainships. Job Requirements
