Role Description This remote Project Manager is responsible for tracking, expediting, and reporting on physical security project tasks supporting hyperscale construction and data center initiatives. This role works in close partnership with construction teams, general contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure project milestones, risks, dependencies, and critical path activities are actively managed and clearly communicated. The ideal candidate is a construction-experienced Project Manager with strong project controls discipline, the ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, complex build environments, and a proactive, self-motivated approach. Experience managing physical security systems within construction programs is strongly preferred. Key Responsibilities - Construction Project Controls & Delivery - Manage, track, and expedite physical security project tasks across hyperscale construction and data center build programs. - Coordinate with construction managers, general contractors, subcontractors, and vendors to monitor critical path and critical chain activities. - Track milestones, dependencies, and handoffs to ensure alignment with overall construction schedules. - Maintain detailed project issue and risk logs, driving timely follow-up, mitigation, and escalation. - Identify construction-related risks, constraints, or sequencing issues and proactively drive resolution. - Project Tracking, Reporting & Documentation - Provide clear, executive-ready status reporting on schedule, risks, and dependencies to key stakeholders. - Support system-based project tracking and documentation (project management system experience preferred). - Maintain accurate documentation related to schedules, risks, decisions, and deliverables. - Prepare concise updates and presentations for leadership and cross-functional review. - Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Collaboration - Partner cross-functionally with construction, security, operations, and vendor teams to align project objectives and delivery expectations. - Serve as a key coordination point between construction programs and physical security workstreams. - Manage multiple concurrent projects and workstreams with minimal oversight. Qualifications - Demonstrated project management experience (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent experience). - Construction project experience strongly preferred; experience supporting large-scale or hyperscale builds is a plus. - Physical security project experience strongly preferred. - Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, and coordination skills. - Effective presentation, reporting, and documentation capabilities. - Highly organized, self-directed, and comfortable managing competing priorities. - Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, complex construction environments. - Ability to travel up to 15%. - Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
