Head of Developer Experience

• Serve as the primary champion of developer experience, setting a long-term DevEx vision and roadmap. • Work directly with engineers to deeply understand pain points, workflow inefficiencies, and systemic barriers to productivity. • Translate developer problems into scalable tooling, automation, and platform features. • Lead and mentor a high-performing CI/CD engineering team responsible for all build, deploy, and release automation. • Architect and deliver a frictionless, touchless deployment platform supporting rapid, safe, auditable releases into production. • Implement industry-grade release automation, rollback strategies, environment standardization, and compliance guardrails. • Ensure all developer platforms, pipelines, and supporting infrastructure meet rigorous availability, continuity, and DR requirements. • Partner with SRE and Infra teams to build resilient, self-healing, observable systems. • Own the creation and maintenance of internal developer tools, SDKs, frameworks, and automation. • Ensure the reliability, performance, and scalability of development infrastructure. • Establish and enforce engineering best practices across teams, including documentation and training. • Partner with Security to embed secure-by-default patterns into the platform. • Partner with Product to align DevEx improvements with business priorities. • Work with leadership to define KPIs for developer productivity and continuously measure impact.

Job Requirements

  • 10+ years of engineering experience, including senior-level ownership of DevEx, Developer Platforms, DevOps, or CI/CD.
  • Demonstrated success leading engineering teams.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Python, Go, Bash or similar languages.
  • Deep experience with AWS and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Ansible).
  • Mastery of modern CI/CD systems (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, FluxCD, Harness).
  • Strong background in production release automation, deployment safety, rollback strategy, and release governance.
  • Experience in financial services, crypto, or other regulated, high-security environments.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to operate across a broad technical and executive audience.
  • Highly execution-driven with a track record of delivering measurable improvements.

What are we looking for? We’re hiring a technical Community Lead to own our public forum and keep users unblocked. You are hands-on: you can debug, give architecture guidance, and jump on calls when needed. You also build scalable community systems (automation, ambassadors, events) and run the feedback loop into product/support.
