• Build relationships with CIOs, IT executives, LOB executives, Program Managers, and other important partners. • Drive value-based growth within the account. • Expand the Databricks footprint into new business units and use cases. • Exceed activity, pipeline, and revenue targets. • Track all customer details including use case, purchase time frames, next steps, and forecasting in Salesforce. • Use a solution-based approach to selling and creating value for customers. • Promote Databricks' Data Intelligence Platform powered by Apache Spark™ and Delta Lake • Prioritize opportunities and leverage appropriate resources. • Build a plan for success internally at Databricks and externally with your account.
Job Requirements
- You have previously excelled in an early-stage company -- you know how to navigate and be successful with limited oversight
- Previous field sales experience within big data, Cloud, SaaS, and a consumption selling motion
- Prior customer relationships with CIOs, program managers, and essential decision makers at local accounts
- The ability to simplify a technical capability into a value-based benefit
- 7+ years of Enterprise Sales experience exceeding quotas in larger accounts
- Managing a small set of enterprise accounts rather than a broad territory
- Bachelor's Degree

Role Description Strategic Renewals Executives (SREs) are responsible for working with national and regional customers to understand their needs and how we can tailor a solution to meet their ongoing goals. We need people who are able to navigate through large, complex organizations as well as small, resource-limited organizations positioning EVERFI’s software, service, and training to retain and grow our relationship with customers. The SRE also must work collaboratively with other internal team members to construct the right solution to meet customer goals. - Developing and implementing account strategies for national and regional customers to retain their business. - Providing tactical and strategic plans with specific measurable time frames to retain and grow an account. - Managing activities to respond to customer re-sale opportunities, including solution strategy, RFP responses, demonstrations, pricing. - Working collaboratively with Regional team managers, Account Executives and Customer Success Managers to identify opportunities to expand the account during a renewal. - Managing renewal activities to exceed assigned retention objectives. - Becoming a trusted business advisor and establishing Executive relationships at senior levels within client accounts. - Differentiating EVERFI's solution by positioning and leveraging in the renewal our total set of capabilities – data and analytics, professional services, managed services, payments, and software. - Resolving complex issues where in-depth analysis is required. - Building and maintaining an accurate pipeline and timely forecasts to management. - Other job duties as assigned. Qualifications - 6+ years experience in positioning and selling large, complex CRM and/or ERP software solutions. Experience selling into Non-profits and Development offices a plus. - Alternatively, 6+ years experience working with nonprofit organizations in a customer service role, such as Customer Success or Professional Services, with experience conducting renewals. - Knowledge and experience working within a solution-selling or consultative selling methodology. - Experience selling or supporting the success of customers using relationship building skills and strategic conversations. - Experience working with and navigating a complex organization and influencing senior business executives is critical. - Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required. - Preferable if this person sits within the Eastern time zone. - Approximately 25% travel is required.
