Summary Assists System Budget, System Financial Strategy, Market Financial Operations, and System Accounting Teams with all finance and accounting related analysis, reporting, and other duties, as assigned.Job Description: Baptist Health is looking for an Intern to join our Finance Department for Summer 2026. These are remote positions that require residency in KY or IN. Essential Functions: Assists Market Financial Operations and System Budget Teams in providing analytical support related to annual system operating and capital budget. - Assists with maintenance of budget system and related reporting - Assists with compilation and maintenance of budget related spreadsheet models, including key volume assumptions, revenue rate assumptions, expense inflation assumptions, labor targets and other budget initiatives. - Assists system and market finance teams with researching and analyzing historical and budget data. - Participates in budget calls with system and market finance teams as assigned. Assists Market Financial Operations and System Financial Strategy Teams in providing analytical support related to financial planning and forecasting. - Assists with maintenance of capital planning and financial forecasting system and related reporting. - Assists with compilation and maintenance of projection and forecasting related spreadsheet models, including key volume assumptions, revenue rate assumptions, expense inflation assumptions, labor targets, capital initiatives and other initiatives. - Assists with the capital planning process, including drafting of business brief and plan, and tracking of capital approvals. - Participates in financial strategy and capital reviews with finance leadership as assigned. Assist Market Financial Operations Team in providing analytical support related to financial performance. - Assists with researching, analyzing, and summarizing financial performance related data, including budget vs. actual and trended variance analysis for all statistical, revenue and expense accounts. - Participates in financial and operating reviews with operating and finance leadership as assigned. Assist Accounting Team in providing analytical support related to updating general ledger, reconciling account discrepancies, and analyzing account information. - Assists with providing financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data; preparing reports, assist in preparation of standard journal entries. - Support accountants to reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information. Qualifications: - Must be a current college student majoring in finance or accounting. Treasury Analyst Position Summary This position is part of the responsibilities of the treasury team and supporting US Finance.
