Role Description The Pricebook Personnel is responsible for managing and maintaining the pricebook, ensuring that all product information, pricing, and promotions are accurate and up-to-date. This role involves close coordination with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure the seamless operation of pricing strategies and inventory management. - Pricebook Maintenance: - Enter and update product information, pricing, and promotional details in the pricebook system. - Ensure all data entries are accurate and reflect current supplier and vendor pricing. - Data Management: - Regularly audit the pricebook for discrepancies and inconsistencies. - Maintain a log of price changes and promotional activities. - Supplier and Vendor Coordination: - Communicate with suppliers and vendors to obtain up-to-date product information and pricing. - Resolve any pricing discrepancies with suppliers and vendors. - Customer Service: - Address pricing inquiries from internal teams and provide accurate information promptly. - Support the sales team with pricing information and promotional details. - Compliance and Documentation: - Ensure all pricing activities comply with company policies and relevant regulations. - Maintain thorough documentation of all price changes and promotional activities. Qualifications - High school diploma or equivalent. - Previous experience in PDI Pricebook. Requirements - Must be proficient in PDI Pricebook. - This position is 40 hours/week, Monday - Friday, 8 am - 4 pm. Why you should join our Actuarial Pricing team: As an Senior Actuarial Analyst on the Pricing team, you will be working under the risk function with talented team members in modeling, risk analytics, decision engine, insurance and tech product. The Pricing team has helped At-Bay launch new products, secure reinsurance capacity, quantify and manage risk related KPIs and adjust pricing to drive profitable growth. You’ll join a growing team of actuaries and actuarial analysts of diverse backgrounds and report to our Actuarial Director. Role overview: Your work will directly contribute to At-Bay’s risk assessment framework that helps with data-driven decisions involving millions of dollars of exposure. This is a multidisciplinary role that includes developing deep cyber and tech knowledge, business acumen, research, and analytical skills. This is also a hands-on operational role where you’ll see in house submission, quotes and binds and understand how each risk decision will impact on the business. You will manage the overall program profitability, improve pricing accuracy, and work cross-functionally with Insurance & Tech Product, Underwriting, Claims, and Decision Engine teams on the implementation of those products. • Lead pricing strategy development for federal opportunities, primarily FFP contracts. • Analyze solicitation requirements (RFPs, RFQs, RFIs) to design competitive, compliant pricing models. • Advise Capture and Executive leadership on pricing approaches, competitive positioning, and risk mitigation. • Support Bid/No-Bid decisions with financial and risk analysis. • Develop detailed pricing models, cost narratives, and supporting documentation. • Build bottoms-up estimates using labor mix modeling, historical data, and competitive intelligence. • Ensure compliance with applicable federal regulations, including: • Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), where applicable. • Prepare price volumes in accordance with Section L & M instructions. • Support cost realism analyses and price-to-win assessments. • Evaluate cost assumptions, escalation factors, indirect rates, and fee structures. • Analyze risk exposure in FFP environments (e.g., scope creep, labor volatility, supply chain risks). • Recommend margin strategies aligned with company financial objectives. • Ensure alignment with approved forward pricing rate agreements (FPRAs), if applicable. • Ensure proposals meet audit readiness standards (e.g., DCAA expectations). • Maintain documentation supporting pricing assumptions and methodologies. • Support fact-finding, negotiations, and post-submission clarifications.
