Who is Aiwyn and what do we do? Aiwyn is transforming the way accounting firms manage the entire revenue lifecycle. Backed by top-tier investors like Bessemer, KKR, and Revolution, we’re one of the fastest-growing scale-up SaaS companies in the world. We build category-defining technology—and we’re doing it with world-class people, processes, and products. To learn more, visit our website Who You Are: We’re looking for a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer who thrives working across the entire stack, from building robust backend services and APIs to crafting polished, responsive user interfaces. You’ll join one of our product teams, taking end-to-end ownership of features from database schema to UI component. We know full-stack means different things to different people. You might be deeply experienced in Java/Kotlin and Spring Boot, with growing frontend skills and a genuine desire to own the UI. Or you might be a seasoned Angular developer who’s built real backend services and wants to go deeper. Either profile works — what matters is that you want to work across the stack and take pride in delivering complete, high-quality features. We’re also leaning heavily into AI-accelerated development. We see AI as a force multiplier for engineering velocity, and we’re actively investing in tools, workflows, and practices that let our engineers ship faster and tackle more ambitious problems. We want people who are genuinely excited about using AI to accelerate their work, not just curious about it, but already experimenting with it and eager to push the boundaries of what’s possible. What You'll Do: - Design & Build Across the Stack – Design and implement features end-to-end, from robust backend services and APIs in Java/Kotlin and Spring Boot to polished, responsive user interfaces in Angular. Own the full lifecycle of features - database schema to UI component - while maintaining high code quality standards and contributing to architectural decisions. - Collaborate & Deliver – Work within agile product teams to deliver high-quality features, participate in code reviews, and contribute to technical discussions across both backend and frontend. Partner with designers and product managers to translate requirements into complete, working solutions. - Innovate & Improve – Tackle complex technical problems that span the full stack, propose innovative solutions and continuously improve our development practices, tooling, and user experience. - AI-Accelerated Development – Leverage AI coding assistants and tools to accelerate development velocity across the full stack. Help establish and refine AI-assisted development workflows, prompting strategies, and best practices for the team. Evaluate and adopt emerging AI tools that improve code quality, testing, and developer productivity. Contribute to a culture where AI is a natural part of the engineering workflow, not an afterthought. What We Need: - Full-Stack Mindset – A genuine desire to work across the entire stack, not just tolerance for it. You take pride in delivering complete features and are eager to deepen your skills on both sides. - Strong Foundation in One, Proficiency in the Other – Deep expertise in either Java/Kotlin and Spring Boot or Angular and TypeScript, with demonstrated hands-on experience in the other. You bring senior-level strength to your primary domain and solid working ability across the stack. - Technical Excellence – Strong understanding of OOP, functional programming, software design principles, and modern architecture patterns. Ability to write clean, performant, and maintainable code in both backend and frontend contexts. - Problem-Solving Skills – Demonstrated ability to analyze and solve complex technical problems that span multiple layers of the system, with a keen eye for identifying potential issues and implementing effective solutions. - Quality Focus – Strong commitment to code quality, testing practices, and software development best practices across the stack. Experience writing well-tested, maintainable code. - Technical Communication – Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts and decisions, participate effectively in code reviews, mentor other engineers, and contribute to a positive team culture. - System Understanding – Ability to understand system architecture and how frontend and backend components interact, with experience in building and maintaining distributed systems. Preferred: - Experience building solutions that leverage LLMs - Experience building software with agentic AI - Experience with PostgreSQL and BigQuery - Experience with Google Cloud Platform services - Familiarity with multi-tenant SaaS architectures - Expertise with NGXS or similar state management solutions - Experience building enterprise-grade component libraries with Angular Material - Experience with GraphQL - Experience with data pipelines and ETL processes - Experience with continuous integration and deployment practices - Knowledge of modern build tools and frontend optimization techniques - Background in contributing to system architecture discussions - Track record of mentoring junior developers - Track record of successful projects in fast-paced environments Why Work at Aiwyn? - The big-picture value proposition of this role is simple: join us, and you'll be paid competitively to have freedom in solving worthwhile, challenging problems alongside other A-players at a fast-growing SaaS startup led by an experienced and successful team with industry experience. Other benefits include: - Remote, work-from-anywhere culture - Competitive compensation - Healthcare benefits, - Stock options - 401(k) matching - Adventure Travel Stipend on each anniversary of your employment with Aiwyn Our Values: - Relentless by Design - Owners not Renters - Trust at the Core Aiwyn is an equal opportunity employer. Founding Forward Deployed Engineer - Remote

Ascertain

Agentic AI for healthcare operations. Ascertain what matters, automate the rest.

OtherRemoteTeam 11-50Since 2022H1B No Sponsor

Meet Ascertain Ascertain is building AI agents to automate the administrative work that burdens care teams. We are in major health systems and large specialty groups, saving hundreds of staff hours every week. Our backers include Northwell Health, New York’s largest health system, and Deerfield Management, a leading healthcare investment firm. Together, we’re on a mission to restore time, trust, and focus to the people who keep healthcare running. Our work is urgent — not because of startup timelines, but because our customers rely on us to drive financial resilience and operational clarity in a system under strain. About the Job As a Forward Deployed Engineer at Ascertain, you sit at the intersection of product, engineering, and real-world customer operations. Healthcare organizations run on complex, messy systems – payer portals, practice management systems, spreadsheets, and legacy workflows. Your job is to understand that reality and help shape Ascertain’s product so it works in practice, not just in theory. You’ll work closely with customers to translate their workflows and edge cases into production-grade solutions by integrating systems, extending workflows, and building features. Just as importantly, you’ll identify patterns and feed them back into the core product so we solve problems once and scale. This is a founding Forward Deployed Engineer role. You’ll help define the playbook with clear opportunities to grow into pod leadership and, over time, people management, if that’s of interest. This role is US-based remote. Regardless of location, this role requires close product collaboration and occasional customer travel (roughly 10–20%). The role reports to the Chief Product Officer. What You'll Need: - Strong communication skills and experience in a customer-facing role. - Several years of experience as a software engineer, with a track record of shipping production systems and owning work from ambiguous problem definition through delivery. - 4+ years of experience in full stack development using Python, FastAPI, and TypeScript. - Strong programming skills with experience building or integrating with external APIs, third-party systems, or imperfect data sources. - Comfort working at the intersection of product, engineering, and customers — including translating real-world needs into scalable technical solutions. - Proven ability to manage complexity and context-switch across multiple workstreams without losing momentum or detail. - Startup experience preferred What You'll Bring to the Table - A strong sense of ownership: you take responsibility for outcomes, not just tasks, and you follow problems through to resolution. - Comfort working in ambiguous, evolving environments, with the ability to create structure where none exists and adapt as priorities shift. - Thoughtful technical judgment, including knowing when to move quickly and when to invest in durability, reuse, or productization. - A collaborative mindset and low ego: you’re comfortable partnering across Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer teams, and you value getting to the right answer over being “right.” - A customer-oriented lens grounded in curiosity and empathy — you seek to understand how and why people work the way they do, especially in complex or constrained environments. - Interest in helping build something bigger than your individual contributions, whether that’s shaping playbooks, mentoring others, or taking on leadership responsibility as the team grows. Benefits & Perks - Meaningful work: Your work will directly impact healthcare organizations by reducing administrative burden and improving how care teams operate day to day. - Ownership and growth: You’ll join Ascertain at an early stage, with meaningful equity and the opportunity to shape our product, technical direction, and how this function evolves over time. - Competitive compensation: We offer a competitive salary, meaningful equity, comprehensive health benefits, and other standard benefits appropriate for a growing company. - Flexible work model: This role is remote-friendly. For NYC-based team members, we support a hybrid model with regular in-office collaboration. We trust people to manage their time and work like adults. - Collaborative team: You’ll work alongside a thoughtful, mission-driven team with backgrounds spanning healthcare operations, product, and engineering. Why Ascertain? Make a real difference: Your work will directly impact healthcare organizations and improve patient care. Join Ascertain in transforming healthcare with AI!
