Job Description

Account Executive – Multi-Specialty

McKesson

• Responsible for retaining and growing territory of existing customers/practices in Rheumatology, Gastroenterology, Ophthalmology, and Neurology • Develop and support relationship between McKesson and individual customer at multiple levels, including c-suite • Assist customers in maximizing the various McKesson products they currently use • Identify areas of need for additional McKesson products • Day-to-day account management, relationship building, selling, and troubleshooting • Act as both internal and external customer liaison • Monitor and support all activity and chase problem resolution through appropriate part of the organization • Strategize plans, prioritize, and execute sales activities to create opportunities with new and existing practices • Understand practice challenges, strategies, and priorities • Proactively develop and expand network to generate opportunities • Educate practices on issues and capabilities; build rapport and trusted advisor relationships with practices

Job Requirements

  • 4+ years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in business related field or equivalent work experience with emphasis in Business, Health Administration, Communications, or other healthcare related field preferred
  • Strong experience with long-term contracts negotiation/renegotiations
  • Experience with delivering customer quarterly business reviews or analyzing performance and communicating value to customers
  • Demonstrated capabilities in establishing executive level relationships and conducting executive-level meetings and presentations
  • Intermediate proficiency with MS Office, Salesforce.com or CRM, SAP
  • Must have a valid driver's license with a clean, active, unrestricted driving record/MVR
  • Must be authorized to work in the US unrestricted.
