Senior DevOps Engineer

EverOps

• Develop and use automation tools effectively to operate, manage, and scale production and development environments in Azure quickly • Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps Pipelines, including multi-stage YAML pipelines for infrastructure and application deployments • Author and maintain Azure infrastructure using Bicep templates and Terraform modules, following IaC best practices • Participate in regular customer and internal EverOps scrums • Monitor Azure environments using native tooling and third-party platforms while focusing on constant improvement • Implement new Azure services and technologies as customer requirements evolve • Design and execute new solutions while working to improve existing ones • Provide operational support and project deployments for our customer environments

Job Requirements

  • 10+ years of professional experience as a DevOps, CloudOps, or Site Reliability Engineer
  • Hands-on experience and deep understanding of Linux
  • Strong hands-on professional experience with either Golang, Python, Bash, TypeScript, or PowerShell
  • Deep hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure – designing, building, and running highly-available, cloud-native environments
  • Strong proficiency with Azure DevOps including Boards, Repos, Pipelines (multi-stage YAML), Artifacts, and Test Plans
  • Hands-on experience authoring Azure Bicep templates for infrastructure deployments, including modules, parameter files, and deployment scopes
  • Solid understanding of Infrastructure as Code principles with Terraform on Azure (azurerm provider) and/or Bicep
  • Experience with Azure-native automation tools such as Azure CLI, Azure PowerShell, and ARM templates
  • Familiarity and/or experience with containerization using Docker
  • Experience with monitoring tools such as Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics, Datadog, or Prometheus/Grafana
  • Experience with Azure data services such as Azure SQL MI or Microsoft SQL Server
  • Understanding of Azure networking, security, and identity concepts including VNets, NSGs, Azure AD, RBAC, and Key Vault
