Role Description The Pre-Commissioning Technician II is responsible for supporting the pre-commissioning department and more senior technicians in the startup and repair of systems while also working more independently. The tasks and duties are exposing the individual to basic system concepts, troubleshooting methodologies, and continue building higher level technician skills such as creative thinking and time management. - Startup: Responsible for starting up less complex equipment; assisting higher level technicians with complex equipment and systems, gathering product info (Model #'s, Serial #'s, Belt, filter sizes). - Diagnose and Repair: Assisting more senior technicians troubleshooting problems and repairing them. - Support for Operations: Assisting with system flushing, TAB, setting PRV's, maintaining belts, greasing bearings and motors before turnover. - Review of Submittal Documents: Verifying equipment on job and submittal match voltage/amps/HP/etc. - Mentoring of Other Employees: Not expected to provide direct mentoring to other employees, either within, or outside of the department. - After Hours Work: Works overtime on occasion.
