Operations Associate, Payor Launch

Grow Therapy

Grow Therapy is an online mental healthcare platform that was launched in 2020 during the spike in depression and anxiety amid the COVID-19 pandemic. The missio

About Us: Grow Therapy is on a mission to serve as the trusted partner for therapists growing their practice, and patients accessing high-quality care. Powered by technology, we are a three-sided marketplace that empowers providers, augments insurance payors, and serves patients. Following the mass increase in depression and anxiety, the need for accessibility is more important than ever. To make our vision for mental healthcare a reality, we’re building a team of entrepreneurs and mission-driven go-getters. Since launching in February 2021, we’ve empowered more than ten thousand therapists and hundreds of thousands of clients across the country and insurance landscape. We’ve raised more than $178mm of funding from Sequoia Capital, Transformation Capital, TCV, SignalFire, and others. We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Operations Associate, Payor Launch to join our Insurance Operations team, focused on enabling high velocity growth to launch new payors. In this role, you’ll help build and maintain the systems that enable our provider network to thrive. You’ll support the processes that get providers in-network with insurance companies and help ensure they’re reimbursed for the vital care they deliver. Your work will be essential to keeping operations smooth and scalable as we grow. As you grow into the role, you’ll gain exposure to multiple parts of the business and may take on ownership of more cross-functional launches. We’re looking for someone eager to learn, grow, and become a go-to resource for the team over time. What You’ll Be Doing: - Manage and improve key workflows that increase the velocity of payor launches. You'll help build automations and project management processes using no-code tools. Your contributions will directly help us expand access to care across the country. - Dive into data to help us make smart decisions. You'll assist in pulling reports, analyzing trends, and turning insights into action that supports the Insurance Operations team and other departments at Grow. - Track and monitor the health of our payor launches. You’ll learn how to own key metrics, flag when something’s off, and partner with the team to troubleshoot and improve our processes. - Collaborate across teams like Credentialing, Billing, Growth, Customer Support, and Technology to make sure our systems stay efficient, scalable, and patient-centered as we grow. You’ll Be a Good Fit If: - A Problem Solver. You bring 3+ years of experience in revenue cycle or healthcare operations, and you enjoy untangling messy problems. You’ve used tools like Excel, dashboards, or other analytics platforms to spot patterns, analyze trends, and help improve workflows. You’re comfortable applying structured problem-solving approaches and are excited to sharpen that skill set further. - Mission-Driven. You’re motivated by work that makes a real impact. You understand that behind every process we build is a person trying to access care—and you never lose sight of that. You’re eager to contribute to Grow Therapy’s mission of making mental health care more accessible. - Adaptable & Agile. You have at least a year of experience in a startup or similarly fast-paced environment. You’re comfortable when priorities shift, and you can reassess, adjust, and move forward without missing a beat. You view change as an opportunity, not a setback. - A Team Player. You’ve worked on cross-functional projects and know that the best ideas often come from many perspectives. You communicate openly, value feedback (both giving and receiving), and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and improvement. - Confident and curious . You’re confident using Excel or Google Sheets—writing formulas, building pivot tables, and pulling insights from data. Bonus points if you’ve dabbled in SQL or automation tools like HubSpot —but if not, we’re happy to teach. We care more about your potential than checking every box.
