M365 Exchange Administrator

• Serve as the primary M365 administration support resource for the client’s environment. • Perform daily monitoring, maintenance, and configuration activities across the M365 suite (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, and associated apps). • Ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of M365 services. • Respond to and resolve escalated incidents, service requests, and problems related to the M365 environment with an emphasis on Exchange Online, while supporting the entire M365 suite. • Troubleshoot complex issues involving mail flow, permissions, distribution lists, resource mailboxes, Teams collaboration/meetings, SharePoint access and permissions, and integrated applications. • Collaborate with Microsoft Support and internal stakeholders as needed for complex or high-impact issues. • Work closely with the Service Desk and Deskside Support teams to assist in resolving end-user issues related to M365 services. • Provide guidance, advanced troubleshooting steps, and escalation support for M365-related tickets. • Participate in knowledge transfer sessions and provide training as required. • Work with the user provisioning/user administration team to ensure proper and timely provisioning, deprovisioning, and modification of M365 user accounts, licenses, and roles. • Ensure M365 provisioning processes are current, accurate, and aligned with organizational policies and security standards. • Develop, maintain, and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for M365 administration activities. • Create and maintain Knowledge Base (KB) articles for use by Service Desk and Deskside Support teams, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and consistency. • Document configurations, changes, and known issues to support continuity and audit requirements. • Monitor Microsoft 365 admin center dashboards, service health, and security/alerting tools for incidents, advisories, and alerts. • Assist with planning, testing, and implementation of M365 upgrades, feature releases, and security patches. • Support adherence to organizational security policies, including conditional access, MFA, and data protection controls as directed by security teams. • Identify opportunities to improve M365 performance, reliability, and user experience. • Recommend and implement improvements to automation, monitoring, and administrative processes. • Stay current with Microsoft 365 roadmaps, new features, and best practices, and provide recommendations on adoption. • Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 3–5 years of hands-on experience working as a Microsoft 365 Administrator in an enterprise environment supporting more than 1,000 users.
- Demonstrated experience supporting Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and M365 apps in a production environment.
- Microsoft 365 Fundamentals Certification (e.g., MS-900 or successor).
- Microsoft 365 Associate-level Certification (e.g., Messaging Administrator, Teams Administrator, or Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, as applicable).
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Minimum Skills Required: Must possess problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written
- Ability to respond effectively to customers with a sense of urgency.
- Proficient in Microsoft and Adobe toolsets, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Acrobat, etc.
- Highly motivated with the ability to handle and manage multiple tasks at any one time.
- Ability to forge new relationships, individual and teaming in nature.
- Must be a Self-starter, that can work independently and as part of a team.

Leidos is hiring a Senior SharePoint Administrator to support our ESA V program. ESA V is an IT applications and infrastructure services program supporting several customers within the Department of Justice (DOJ), including the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF). The program provides a range of IT services, including software application support, enterprise infrastructure support, service desk, ITSM, deskside support, workstation engineering and maintenance, telecommunications and mobility engineering services, managed print services, Active Directory services, and video conferencing. The program is expanding and is adding a dedicated Sr SharePoint administrator to support the ATF customer. The person hired for this position will support infrastructure services, operations and maintenance across the whole ATF SharePoint environment.
