Role Description We’re searching for a Sr. UX Designer to join our Applied Epic team in a remote or hybrid setting. The Sr. UX Designer will handle projects across multiple workstreams and ultimately be accountable for the delivery, quality, and success of the product’s user experience throughout the entire product lifecycle. - Develop a strong understanding of our users’ experience through our suite of products, and explore the needs and motivations of our target users - Strategize with stakeholders across multiple functions to identify and understand the impact of potential problem spaces - Collaboratively lead discovery with Product Management partners via mixed-methods research to acquire attitudinal and behavioral user data, synthesize and analyze results with related research efforts to deliver meaningful insights - Explore solutions in conjunction with stakeholders, creating one or more of the following artifacts: user flows, experience maps, journey maps, wireframes, and prototypes - Own workstreams from strategic planning through design hand-off, post-release testing, and research Qualifications - 5+ years of experience in UX, preferably in commercial software and enterprise environments - Excellent communication, facilitation, problem-solving, reasoning, and analytical skills - Excellent understanding of user experience research methodologies and design principles - Proficiency in creating prototypes using tools such as Figma, Balsamiq, Miro, etc. Requirements - Insurance industry or Insurance technology experience - Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and techniques – e.g., AI, Machine Learning, etc. Benefits - A culture that values who you are and recognizes that you aren’t just an employee; you are a teammate, and you matter - Flexibility in collaboration, working remotely and in-person - A comprehensive benefits and compensation package that centers our teammates - Medical, Dental, and Vision Coverage - Holiday and Vacation Time - Health & Wellness Days - A Bonus Day for Your Birthday
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in UX, preferably in commercial software and enterprise environments
- Excellent communication, facilitation, problem-solving, reasoning, and analytical skills
- Excellent understanding of user experience research methodologies and design principles
- Proficiency in creating prototypes using tools such as Figma, Balsamiq, Miro, etc.
- Insurance industry or Insurance technology experience
