Role Description Benefit & Eligibility Specialists (BESs) are responsible for making financial eligibility determinations for Medicaid programs. BESs provide customer service to diverse populations in a variety of settings that may include in person, phone, and/or call center. - Completing financial eligibility determinations for ALTCS, SSI MAO, Medicare Savings, KidsCare, Specialty Medicaid and the FTW programs following productivity, timeliness, and quality guidelines. - Scheduling and conducting interviews. - Communicating with customers after the interview to include requesting information, status updates and final decision. - Requesting eligibility verification from multiple sources and reviewing documentation in various systems. - Researching, following, and applying prescribed policies and procedures. - Documenting throughout the application process as needed, actions taken, relevant case information, and eligibility related material in case records until final case determination is made using HEAplus system. - Participating in team meetings, AMS Process improvement, and assisting with special projects. Qualifications - Must have a high school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (G.E.D.) and 6 months customer service related work experience. - Must successfully pass a test appropriate to area of assignment. - Chinle office only: Bilingual (fluent) in Navajo. About the Role: The Registered Dietitian will be responsible for all nutrition related aspects of care, and will work closely with family members to Equip them with the skills needed to nutritionally restore their child. Equip is a “virtual clinic”, which means that care is delivered remotely through our telehealth platform. The Registered Dietitian is responsible for consulting in a collaborative fashion with the Equip treatment team to provide evidence-based care for families undergoing eating disorder treatment for their child (via Equip’s family-based treatment approach). Responsibilities: - Assist patients and families in helping the patient transform their maladaptive eating patterns into a healthy relationship with food through provision of ongoing support. - Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to facilitate patients' progress based upon patient’s unique needs. This is accomplished through regular meetings with families via telehealth, which will include an initial nutrition assessment, prescription of a meal plan (utilizing Equip’s feeding philosophy and meal planning approach) and assessment of target weight ranges. - Guide process of exposure to fear/challenge foods. - Communicate patient's meal plan, and any other special nutrition related concerns clearly to all team members, and provide education around how to alleviate or resolve nutrition related concerns. - Echo treatment team’s directives in interactions with families (presents as a united front). - Assist with discharge planning. - Update treatment plans weekly with patient’s progress, treatment goals, nutrition related assignments or directives, nutrition related concerns. - Reassess nutritional needs on an ongoing basis and communicates recommendations to treatment team (and families). - Deliver evidence-based nutrition education geared toward challenging irrational thoughts and beliefs around food/nutrition, weight and shape that fuel the eating disorder behaviors. - Establish a therapeutic relationship with families, including rapport building, appropriate boundary setting, and a working alliance with team and family toward treatment goals. - Thorough documentation within Equip’s electronic medical record in accordance with Equip’s policies and procedures. - Perform other duties as assigned. Schedule & Work Structure - Full-time: 30–40 hours per week - Full-time schedules are fixed and may be structured as 3x10s, 4x8s, 4x10s, or 5x8s - 10-hour shifts are typically 8am to 6pm - 8-hour shifts are typically 10am to 6pm - For clinicians located in Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, or Wyoming: - Condensed schedules (3x10s, 4x8s, or 4x10s) require working until 7pm MT - Typical condensed shifts in Mountain Time are 9am to 7pm MT (10-hour) or 11am to 7pm MT (8-hour) - 5x8 schedules in Mountain Time are 10am to 6pm MT Weekend ExpansionWe plan to introduce weekend hours beginning this summer, with anticipated operating hours between 12pm and 9pm Eastern Time on Saturdays and Sundays. Weekend availability is not required for this role. Clinicians may work one or both weekend days and additional weekday shifts to reach full-time. Qualifications - Active NP license and reside in one of these states: AK, AZ, CO, FL, ID, IL, KS, MA, MD, MN, NC, NH, NM, NV, NY, OH, OR, VA, WA, WY - Note: Candidates who reside in Florida, Illinois, Massachusetts, Minnesota, or Virginia must hold the designation or licensure required to practice independently without physician supervision in their state. - Have at least 1 year of experience in an independent, outpatient setting where you regularly prescribed buprenorphine-based medications — including initiating care, not just continuing existing prescriptions — as a core part of your daily practice - Strong patient-centered practice and ability to work autonomously - Private workspace with HIPAA-compliant setup Compensation & Benefits (Full-Time) - Salary: $130,000–$140,000 (up to $145,000 in select HCOL markets) for 1.0 FTE (40 hours/week). - This equates to approximately $62.50–$67.31 per hour (up to $69.71 per hour in select HCOL markets) - Compensation is pro-rated by FTE: - 0.8 FTE (32 hours/week) is $104,000–$112,000 (up to $116,000) - 0.75 FTE (30 hours/week) is $97,500–$105,000 (up to $108,750) - Advanced certification pay differentials: eligible after 6 months, contingent on performance and good standing - +2% for PMHNP - +1% for CARN-AP - W2 employment with health, dental, and vision coverage - Boulder covers up to 100% of monthly premiums for individual coverage - 60% of monthly premiums for dependents - Vacation Time: 4 weeks/year (5 weeks after 2 years), 9 paid holidays - 12 weeks fully paid parental leave (after 6 months) - State licensure, DEA registration and renewals, malpractice insurance, and credentialing are fully covered - For clinicians in states requiring physician collaboration, Boulder provides and manages the collaborating physician relationship - Company-issued equipment provided, including a laptop, additional monitor, keyboard, and mouse - Mental health support via Talkspace Hiring Timeline - We’re currently targeting start dates throughout 2026 Our values - The people we care for always come first - Our opportunity is also our duty, in service to others - Share facts to change minds, instill empathy to change hearts - Move the industry forward: follow the data - Strong individuals, stronger together Boulder Care believes the people who manage our product and team should be representative of those who use the platform.
