The VISN Clinical Contact Center (CCC) Pharmacy Program Manager works independently under the VISN CCC Director or designee and is responsible for the oversight of the pharmacy services within the VISN CCC. The VISN CCC Pharmacy Program Manager functions as part of the VISN CCC leadership team to accomplish the VA's mission, vision, and goals. Responsibilities The VISN CCC Pharmacy Program Manager is responsible for the overall activities of pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and unit support staff. - Prepares projections and justifications for budget, personnel/workload, equipment and space requirements consistent with the continuously expanding services and roles of pharmacy. - Oversees and manages the work of the VISN CCC Pharmacy Service Supervisor(s) and support staff to include review of leave requests, completion of job performance evaluations and competencies. - Serves as a liaison between the VISN CCC Pharmacy Service, VISN CCC, VISN Leadership and the VISN Board of Directors or other governance structure. - Presents reports and justifies requests to the VISN CCC Director, VISN CCC governance structure, VISN Pharmacy Executives and/or facilities serviced by the VISN CCC. - Utilizes various techniques to eliminate waste in work processes with the goal of meeting established performance metrics. - Performs quality control and facilitates performance improvement of pharmacy staffs work. - Participates in meetings, conferences, and training programs relevant to the development and maintenance of the VISN CCC Pharmacy Service. - Promotes employee professional development through continuing education programs. - Assures that implementation of goals and projects set by the members of the management team and support staff are appropriate and carried out timely. - Participates as preceptor of pharmacy students and residents for education pertaining to administrative issues and customer service, when applicable. - Exhibits courtesy, cooperation, and respect in personal, telephone, and written interactions with Veterans, visitors, and staff. - Adheres to secure processes by not allowing unauthorized access to the VISN CCC, patient records, or the medical center computer system. - Responds to customer inquiries in a helpful and timely fashion. Graduates of foreign pharmacy degree programs meet the educational requirement if the graduate is able to provide proof of achieving the Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Examination Commission (FPGEC) Certification, which includes passing the Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Equivalency Examination (FPGEE) and the Test of English as a Foreign Language Internet-Based Test (TOEFL iBT). - Licensure: Full, current and unrestricted license to practice pharmacy in a State, Territory, Commonwealth of the United States (i.e., Puerto Rico), or the District of Columbia. The pharmacist must maintain current registration if this is a requirement for maintaining full, current, and unrestricted licensure. May qualify based on being covered by the Grandfathering Provision as described in the VA Qualification Standard for this occupation (only applicable to current VHA employees who are in this occupation and meet the criteria). Grade Determinations: Pharmacist GS-14 (VISN Program Manager) - Experience: In addition to the GS-13 requirements, must have 1 year of experience equivalent to the next lower grade level. - Demonstrated KSAs: Pharmacists assigned to this position must demonstrate the following knowledge, skills and abilities (KSAs): - Skill in persuading others and gaining cooperation to accomplish goals. - Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing regarding complex clinical and technical issues. - Skill in utilizing regulatory and quality standards to develop and implement operational programs. - Skill in managing multiple people or programs. - Skill in utilizing available resources to support the mission and goals of the organization. Preferred Experience: Minimum 2 years VA Health Connect Clinical Contact Center experience.

Duties and Responsibilities: The primary duties and responsibilities of the Workers’ Compensation Nurse Case Manager are: - Assess and analyze injured workers’ medical reports — comparing to evidence-based treatment guidelines, ensuring disability status is supported by diagnosis, work status/restrictions/treatment plan are appropriate, and documentation is correct/complete. - Access database to reference employer accounts’ modified duty policies and ensure medical reports are communicated and meet client specifications. - Transmit employee post injury report information to employers via email. - Communicate with patients in a professional and courteous fashion when needed to discuss changes in work status, restrictions, and treatment plans. - Maintain productivity on assigned caseloads, which may vary in numbers and/or by state jurisdiction. - Work with treating physician regarding cases that may need attention or require amendment to ensure appropriate handling and consideration of modified duty is applied to facilitate return-to-work. - Manage communication (calls, emails) to patients, employers, adjusters and/or nurse case managers regarding any amendments made to case diagnosis, treatment and/or lost time from work. - Respond to inquiries from employers, adjusters/nurse case managers and patients for documentation or information on Workers’ Compensation cases. - Learn and be proficient in rules that govern HIPAA and release of medical records to patients, employers, payers, and providers. - Collaborate with centralized Workers’ Compensation Teams, Occupational Health Support Teams, Sales Team, Clinical Operations Teams, Revenue Cycle Teams and Medical Records Teams to resolve issues and ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction. POSITION SUMMARY This corporate position serves as a mid to senior level environmental services professional in a key role to provide environmental guidance, training, and technical advisory support to USG Manufacturing operations, business units and other corporate departments such as engineering, legal, strategy, real estate, sourcing, innovation center, and safety. The goal of this position is to ensure alignment with the corporation’s objectives to minimize liabilities while managing risk and sustaining environmental regulatory compliance. This position includes responsibilities for project oversight of strategic environmental reserves and capital projects, and leadership in implementing corporate and departmental environmental priorities. Position requires proactive engagement and managing productive relationships with internal contacts and outside contractors, consultants, attorneys, responsible parties and regulatory agencies. Position is based in the Chicago corporate office, with remote work opportunities available according to company policy. Key aspects of the position cover project management skills, strategic technical planning and guidance to environmental project staff. This is a “hands on” position that will involve assigned projects as well as directing additional professional resources. Assist in obtaining and reviewing required permits. · Assist in negotiations with Federal, State and local regulatory agencies for the resolution of non-compliance matters or agreed orders, permitting challenges, agency inspections and remediation cleanup to obtain no further action or return to compliance. · Provide web based and in person compliance training and oversight to corporate departments and plant management as assigned. · Participation in sustainability efforts or initiatives at USG that would result in demonstrable reductions in pollution, waste, energy, or water usage via resource conservation efforts and alternative technologies development. · Manage remediation and/or environmental closure activities associated with historic USG manufacturing locations.
