• Advance institutional research capacity by increasing faculty and doctoral student scholarly productivity and engagement • Ensure the quality and integrity of research and scholarship through promotion of ethical standards and methodological rigor • Support continuous improvement in faculty scholarship by guiding research design, methodology, and publication strategy • Increase publication-ready manuscripts through structured support from conceptualization to submission • Strengthen research literacy and information fluency through collaboration with library and research support services • Design, implement, and assess research workshops and professional development aligned with institutional learning and research outcomes • Identify and integrate emerging research trends, best practices, and external expectations into faculty research initiatives • Promote interdisciplinary and faculty–student collaborative research that aligns with institutional mission and strategic priorities • Develop and sustain research teams and communities of practice that demonstrate measurable scholarly outcomes • Collect, analyze, and report evidence of research engagement, productivity, and impact to support accreditation, assessment, and institutional effectiveness • Participate on university committees and/or external advisory boards and committees as needed • Oversee faculty research programs (Faculty Fellows) and initiatives at the university level • Provide strategic leadership for the journal’s vision, scope, and editorial board and direction • Establish and uphold editorial policies, ethics, and peer-review integrity • Oversee manuscript submission, review, and publication; make final editorial decisions • Recruit, mentor, and manage associate editors, editorial board members, and reviewers • Ensure timely, fair, and rigorous peer review and issue planning • Collaborate with library and research leadership on indexing, discoverability, and archiving • Mentor authors—especially faculty and doctoral students—on scholarly writing and publication readiness • Monitor journal quality, impact, diversity, and continuous improvement, including alignment with Scopus standards • Manage multi-round peer review through hands-on coordination and continuous communication with authors and reviewers • Oversee detailed editing, proofreading, and end-to-end journal production and publishing, including posting issues to the journal website
Job Requirements
- Earned doctoral degree from a regionally accredited institution in a relevant discipline
- Demonstrated record of scholarly publication in peer-reviewed journals or equivalent academic outlets
- Experience in applied research (e.g. SMART aligned programs), including authorship of case studies, research reports, or published studies with practical impact
- Experience supporting or mentoring faculty and/or doctoral students in research design, methodology, and scholarly writing
- Strong knowledge of research methods (qualitative, quantitative, and/or mixed methods) and research ethics
- Familiarity with institutional research processes, including IRB requirements and publication standards
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and support research initiatives across disciplines
- Publications in indexed or high-impact journals (e.g., Scopus-indexed)
- Experience with interdisciplinary, international, or collaborative research
- Prior service as a journal editor, reviewer, or editorial board member
- Experience contributing to institutional research reporting, accreditation, or rankings

Role Description We are looking for a Satellite Program Manager who will lead the development of our satellite mission from concept through design, development, integration, launch preparation and early operations. This role is responsible for transforming a long-term system vision into a structured and executable engineering program.
