The VP will own the regional P&L, ensuring revenue growth and margin performance align with company targets, while partnering closely with Regional Sales Managers to strategically define, scope, and close services engagements. As VP of Professional Services You will: - Attract and retain the top talent in the industry. Motivate, inspire and mentor project team members to excel. - Drive 100% customer satisfaction and project success. - Manage the P&L for a services region in line with revenue and margin targets. - Working closely with the Regional Sales Managers to define, scope and sell project engagements. - Attain mastery over and become subject knowledge expert in Cloudera software & engagement We’re Excited About You If You Have: - 10+ years of successfully managing a P&L for a services region, preferably within an enterprise software company. - Experience leading the selling and scoping activities on large scale, complex technology infrastructure projects. - Direct line manager experience of a geographically dispersed team of highly technical employees. - Customer relationship management including project escalations, and participating in executive steering meetings. - Strong foundational knowledge of database technologies, networks, distributed computing, programming languages and operating systems. Hadoop experience is a plus. - Strong knowledge of software implementation methodologies - Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills - 50-70% travel anticipated, within the region. - Masters degree in Computer Science and/or business administration desirable.
