About the Role The Regional Strategic Platform Architect serves as a pivotal bridge between sales, services, and product teams, ensuring clients receive best-in-class solutions that align with their event planning lifecycle needs. This role blends a strong front-facing sales presence with deep technical expertise, supporting sales efforts, architecting solutions, and influencing product development to drive innovation and customer success. This individual will work closely with sales teams to support new business opportunities, upsell existing customers, and provide technical guidance throughout the sales cycle. Additionally, they will collaborate with services and product teams to pass over requirements, identify product needs, and drive best practices in solution architecture. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: - Serve as a technical advisor in sales engagements, helping prospects and customers understand RainFocus' capabilities and value proposition. - Architect and deliver compelling product demonstrations to highlight the platform’s ease of use and expansive capabilities. - Engage with prospects to identify solution requirements and develop contractual scope language. - Support responses to RFPs and RFIs, ensuring alignment with client needs and technical feasibility. - Assist in creating SOWs to ensure smooth project execution by the services team. - Lead technical discussions with enterprise clients, addressing objections and guiding them toward scalable solutions. - Identify solutions for integrations and document complex integration requirements. - Create requirements documentation and lead in providing a smooth hand off to implementation teams. - Maintain a library of best practices and standard configuration templates to streamline solution demonstration and implementation.. - Capture and synthesize client feedback to inform and influence product roadmap. - Think creatively about ways to increase the company’s value to customers and expand our service addressable market.. - Provide technical tours and demonstrations during onsite client events. Required Skills & Experience: - 5+ years in a software implementation, technical sales, or solution architecture role, preferably in enterprise event management. - Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to executive stakeholders. - Extensive knowledge of RainFocus platform(Competitive software or industry experience a plus). - Proven experience scoping and designing complex solutions, including integrations. - Experience working in a consulting environment or client-facing role. - Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive cross-functional collaboration. - Experience preparing detailed RFP and RFI responses. - Ability to manage multiple accounts/opportunities simultaneously. - BA/BS in a related field.
