This role goes beyond traditional production — it requires translating business strategy into scalable, repeatable video formats that elevate our brand, drive product adoption, and engage global audiences. The ideal candidate is both a creative storyteller and an operational builder: someone who can ideate, script, produce, direct, and oversee post-production, while also building systems, templates, and AI-integrated workflows that enable efficient, high-quality content creation at scale. Key Responsibilities Strategic & Creative Leadership - Translate business priorities and product strategy into compelling, repeatable video formats that support brand, demand generation, and customer engagement goals. - Ideate and script original content including product promotional videos, executive and employee storytelling, explainer videos, branded campaigns, and documentary-style pieces. - Serve as creative lead on video projects from concept through delivery. End-to-End Production Management - Own the full production lifecycle: creative brief development, scripting, pre-production planning, producing/directing, and overseeing post-production. - Manage external production houses, agencies, and freelance talent to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery. - Partner closely with Product, Technology, Communications, and other cross-functional stakeholders to align messaging and ensure technical accuracy. Scalable Systems & Asset Pipeline - Build and manage a scalable pipeline of video assets. - Develop templates, playbooks, production guidelines, and standardized workflows to enable efficiency and consistency. - Establish and maintain a vetted network of freelance editors, motion designers, and production partners. AI-Integrated Video Innovation - Set the standard for AI-integrated video workflows within marketing. - Test, evaluate, and recommend emerging AI tools to enhance production efficiency while maintaining high creative quality. - Generate polished, professional AI-assisted video assets with strong visual consistency and brand alignment. - Develop best practices for responsible and effective AI use in video production. Social & Distribution Optimization - Create content optimized for digital and social platforms, with deep knowledge of platform-specific best practices, formats, trends, and algorithms. - Ensure video content is tailored for LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, and other key distribution channels. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree required (area of specialization flexible). - 5+ years of experience producing and developing digital video content, including: - Product promotional videos - Executive/employee storytelling - Explainer videos - Branded content - Documentary-style pieces - Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud applications, including: - Premiere Pro (required) - After Effects (required) - Experience working with AI-powered creative tools (e.g., generative video, AI editing, motion graphics, voice synthesis) strongly preferred. - Strong storytelling skills with demonstrated ability to translate complex ideas into engaging visual narratives. - Knowledge of digital and social video best practices and distribution strategies. - Experience managing agencies, vendors, and freelance talent. - Outstanding organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills. - Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across senior stakeholders. - Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with a positive, solutions-oriented mindset. Primary Location Base Pay Range: Home based-New York $115,400 - $192,200. If performed in New York City, the base pay range is $125,900 - $209,700.If performed in Rochester, NY, the base pay range is $104,900 - $174,700.U.S. National Base Pay Range: $104,900 - $174,700.
