Strategic Partner Development Manager

Staples Promotional Products

• Leverage distributor resources to create and maintain sales funnel and work with Services Partner Business Managers to accurately forecast PC Services sales. • Participate in Champion Training calls as scheduled by PC Services Category team designed to collectively educate all PC Services Champs across the channel on channel-wide promos, new offering training, offering updates, etc. • Conduct ongoing thorough discovery exercises internal to reseller sales environment to identify new opportunities for operational improvements which could enhance ease of selling PC Services for reseller sales organization. • Establish sales relationships with largest PC Services customers and their respective reseller lead sales team to provide added end user support, accurate forecasting/pipeline management, and pro-active protection of the business. • Drive all communication of Services programs, promotions, rebates, etc. to reseller sales team and management. • Be the day-to-day go to person for the reseller sales teams. Ensure sales teams are using all possible programs and promotions to increase margin and revenue. • Help drive Marketing planning and execution. Develop innovative ways to increase services revenue and attach. • Identify at-risk customers where services business has slipped and create a “get-well” plan. • Seek out new opportunities to expand or enhance existing opportunities. Leverage the U-Box and expiring Care Pack lists to build the funnel.

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of Sales and Operational Experience with Technology Products
  • 5+ years Consultant Experience with Technology Products and Services
  • Experience supporting sales efforts to Mid-Market, Commercial and Enterprise teams and customers
  • Experience working with Distributors and OEM's
  • Experience using Microsoft 365
  • Knowledge of Salesforce.com
  • Travel as business needs
