We play a critical role in capturing and recording company activity in real time, while maintaining strong controls and high standards, and providing financial insights to inform strategic decisions. About the Role As Director, Accounting, you will lead a team of 10 across the United States and the Philippines, overseeing General Accounting, Revenue Accounting, and Accounts Payable. You will partner closely with Finance, Procurement, Payroll, Legal, Tax, Product, and Engineering to ensure accurate reporting and scalable financial operations across the business. In order to be successful, you must bring - 10 to 15+ years of experience, preferably including public accounting firm and publicly traded-company experience. - Experience leading teams, and preferably distributed and international teams, with a track record of building scalable, high-performing organizations. - Strong operational accounting experience, and driving process improvements including systems selection and implementation, and preferably a passion for AI and experience with Netsuite. - Strong understanding of internal controls, and SOX requirements. - US GAAP technical accounting fluency, and preferably a CPA. - Excellent communication (written and verbal), and passion for cross functional influencing. - A balance of operational rigor and strategic thinking, with the ability to scale processes for long-term success. Expected salary ranges - For candidates living in San Francisco / Bay Area, San Jose, New York City, or Seattle metros, the expected salary range for the role is currently $221,000.00 - $286,000.00. - For candidates living in Austin, TX or Washington DC metros or in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, or Washington states, the expected salary range for the role is currently $198,900.00 - $257,400.00. - For candidates living in all other US locations, the expected salary range for this role is currently $187,900.00 - $243,100.00.
