Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced SharePoint Administrator hands-on SharePoint administration experience to support both SharePoint 2016 On-Premise Operations and Maintenance (O&M) and SharePoint Online (Microsoft 365) environments. This role requires a strong operational mindset, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to manage hybrid SharePoint architectures while ensuring platform stability, security, and performance. The ideal candidate will be equally comfortable supporting legacy on-premise infrastructure and modern cloud-based SharePoint Online solutions. Job Duties: SharePoint 2016 On-Premise Administration (O&M) - Administer, maintain, and support SharePoint 2016 farm environments - Perform installation, configuration, patching (CUs/Service Packs), and upgrades - Manage SharePoint farm topology, service applications, web applications, and site collections - Monitor farm health, performance, and capacity planning - Manage backups, restores, and disaster recovery procedures - Troubleshoot platform, search, workflow, and authentication issues - Support SQL Server integration and performance optimization - Maintain documentation including system architecture, SOPs, and runbooks - Support incident, problem, and change management processes SharePoint Online Administration - Administer SharePoint Online within Microsoft 365 tenant - Manage site collections, permissions, governance policies, and content lifecycle - Configure and manage hybrid connectivity between on-prem and SharePoint Online - Support OneDrive for Business and Teams integration - Implement retention policies, compliance features, and DLP configurations - Monitor tenant health and security alerts - Support migration activities between on-premise and SharePoint Online - Configure and manage PowerShell automation for administration tasks Basic Qualifications: - Minimum 10 years of SharePoint Administration experience - Bachelor's degree, One-and-one- half (1.5) years of additional experience can substitute for one (1) year of a typical degree program. - Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with SharePoint migrations (on-prem to Online) - Knowledge of Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps) - Experience with security hardening and STIG implementation - Familiarity with backup tools (e.g., Veeam, AvePoint, Metalogix) - Microsoft certifications (e.g., MS-100, MS-101, or related) Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this remote role is $100,778 - $233,281. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance. • Evaluate and redesign heavily denormalized SQL Server database environments. • Architect solutions to separate historical data from real-time OLTP workloads. • Reduce table bloat and optimize large-scale tables for read/write performance. • Optimize indexing strategies, query performance, and access patterns across large datasets. • Assess and execute consolidation of approximately 30 independent database pods into a unified architecture. • Design and implement scalable multi-tenant database models. • Lead migration strategy from SQL Server to PostgreSQL where appropriate. • Work extensively within Azure environments, including Azure SQL Hyperscale. • Establish data lifecycle management practices and ETL/data movement strategies. • Operate directly in production systems, diagnosing and resolving complex technical challenges. • Lead modernization efforts through hands-on execution and technical example.

• Maintain, enhance, and further develop a long-lifespan, stored-procedure–centric application. • Lead query tuning, indexing, and performance diagnostics for large-scale, complex databases. • Design, develop, and deploy mission-critical SSRS reports. • Partner with internal client managers to capture business requirements and translate them into actionable technical tasks. • Manage and prioritize technical tasks triaged through the help desk (Javan). • Document all database changes and uphold best practices for multi-environment migrations. • Contribute to database design patterns for new or enhanced modules.
