Benefits Manager
The Leaflet
• Support and manage all US benefits programs. • Partner with leadership to evaluate benefits strategy and recommend enhancements aligned with talent attraction, retention, and engagement. • Benchmark benefits against industry standards, particularly within tech, gaming, and regulated environments. • Oversee day-to-day benefits across the employee lifecycle. • Ensure accurate setup, maintenance and reconciliation of benefits within the relevant platforms. • Manage employee eligibility, enrolment files, and invoices with carriers and vendors. • Lead on the continuous improvement of benefit processes, documentation, and employee-facing materials. • Be the primary escalation point for employee benefits questions and issues. • Develop clear, engaging benefits communications, including plan summaries, guides, FAQs and enrolment materials. • Act as the primary relationship manager for internal stakeholders, benefits brokers, carriers, and third-party administrators. • Lead annual benefits renewals partnering with internal stakeholders. • Monitor vendor performance against SLAs and proactively resolve issues. • Ensure full compliance with all applicable US federal and state benefits legislation. • Manage required filings, notices, disclosures, and reporting.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience managing US employee benefits.
- Proficient in using an HRIS systems, as well as Microsoft Office, e.g. Excel, Word, Teams, Slack, etc.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentations.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to handle complex problems and issues.
- Self-motivated, team player, able to work well under pressure.
- Well organized, with strong attention to detail.
