Role Description We are looking for a Senior MES Engineer (TraKsys) to lead end-to-end MES implementations, including configuration, data modeling, and system integration across industrial environments. - Lead and participate in the full life cycle of MES implementation projects, including requirements gathering, design, configuration, testing, commissioning, and go‑live support. - Architect TraKsys modules such as: - Data Collection - OEE and Downtime Tracking - Quality and SPC - Production & Order Tracking - Traceability and genealogy - Develop data models, event logic, workflows, and calculations aligned with ISA‑95 and customer-specific production processes. - Configuration & Application Development: - Configure TraKsys data connectors, resource hierarchies, process models, and business rules. - Build dashboards, visualizations, and operator displays that provide meaningful real‑time insights. - Develop custom logic, scripts, or interfaces using SQL, .NET, or other supported tools. - Ensure data accuracy, system stability, and high performance across MES deployments. - Integration with OT/IT Systems: - Integrate TraKsys with PLCs, SCADA, and OPC servers (OPC DA/UA). - Data historians (OSIsoft PI, FactoryTalk Historian). - ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics). - Plant networks and cybersecurity standards. - Troubleshoot communication paths and ensure robust data flow across production environments. Qualifications - Hands-on experience with TraKsys MES configuration and deployment (preferred 3+ years). - Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, OEE, KPIs, downtime categorization, and ISA‑95 structures. - Proficiency with SQL Server, including writing queries, debugging stored procedures, and understanding schema relationships. - Understanding of PLCs, OPC communications, SCADA/HMI interfaces, or other automation technologies. - Ability to troubleshoot complex system interactions across OT/IT systems. - Strong communication skills and comfort working directly with plant operators, engineers, and leadership. Requirements - Experience in process industries such as food & beverage, chemical, life sciences, or specialty manufacturing. - Familiarity with Python, C#, .NET, or script-based customization. - Experience integrating MES with ERP systems. - Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices in industrial environments. - Prior experience delivering engineering services or consulting solutions. The US yearly salary range for this role is: $125,000 - $175,000 USD in addition to competitive perks & benefits. • Ensure the successful onboarding, training, enablement, and certification of partner technical resources; • Participate in periodic joint business planning and review sessions to ensure direct alignment between Datadog and Partner technical teams; • Collaborate internally to support Partner technical initiatives such as end-customer demonstrations and proofs of value; partner team enablement workshops; assessment, advice, and coaching on lead practices; • Advocate on behalf of Partners’ technical concerns (use cases, feature requests, support issues, e.g.) with Datadog internal teams and personnel, helping to bring those concerns to resolution; • Analyze and understand Partner service offerings on a regular basis and provide recommendations to enhance the value of those services through greater or improved adoption of Datadog features and capabilities; • Collaborate with Datadog’s product management, engineering and technical services teams to help identify and prioritize new features and capabilities; • Continuously help curate and evolve lead/best practices for Datadog platform adoption and success.

• Apply deep automotive retail and financial services domain expertise, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of vehicle desking, menu selling, lending and financing processes, and integration with third-party systems including F&I, Credit, and external DMS. Experience with service, parts, and repair (Fixed Operations) processes is a strong plus. • Serve as a critical business translator between OEM partners and Tekion’s product/engineering teams. Capture complex OEM business needs—such as dealer enrollment, Dealer Portal SSO, OEM accessory ingestion, or secure checkout—and convert them into actionable technical specifications and robust solution designs. • Lead strategic technical scoping and estimation for new and evolving projects. Define key requirements, identify potential solutions, estimate effort and timelines, and proactively address technical challenges like SSO provisioning or data flows. • Collaborate with engineering, product, and design teams to develop prototypes, proofs of concept, and tightly integrated digital retail experiences—focusing on advanced concepts like digital lending, forms, document handling, and high-trust integrations. • Build and maintain strong relationships with OEM, dealership, and technology stakeholders. Drive successful integrations and serve as the technical point of contact during solution design, implementation, and ongoing collaboration. • Demonstrate hands-on technical proficiency, including calling APIs with tools such as Postman, developing architectural documentation (BRDs, PRDs, API specs), and ensuring project materials are organized and up-to-date in Confluence and integrated project systems such as Jira. • Communicate platform capabilities, solutions, and technical details clearly and effectively to all audiences, including executive-level stakeholders, internal team members, and external partners. • Deliver product demonstrations and presentations, negotiate technical details, and manage alignment and expectations across all parties involved. • Travel between 25 to 50 percent to engage with clients, participate in onsite workshops, lead strategy sessions, and support implementations.
