Bookkeeper, Part-Time
International Trans Fund (ITF)
• Record financial transactions in QuickBooks Online. • Process supplier payments and reimbursements. • Maintain accurate documentation of receipts, invoices, and payment records. • Reconcile credit card statement monthly. • Assist Senior Finance & Operations Officer on Annual Audit and monthly reporting. • Maintain confidentiality and ensure data security across all records. • Staff Timesheets and Payslips.
Job Requirements
- At least two years of experience in bookkeeping or finance, ideally within a nonprofit or grantmaking context.
- Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online and confidence managing day-to-day financial transactions.
- A high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and respect for confidentiality.
- Experience with international payments, reimbursements, and reconciliations.
- Knowledge of, and experience working within, the Canadian financial and regulatory context (including payroll, tax, and compliance requirements).
- The ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and communicate clearly within a remote team.
- Alignment with ITF’s mission, values, and commitment to trans-led, transfeminist, and movement-based work.
