Envocore is Hiring a Project Documentation Assistant! Location: Remote (Preferred candidates near Gambrills, MD; Houston, TX; or Dallas, TX) Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM EST Pay Rate: $21.63 – $26.44 per hour Employment Type: Full-Time, Hourly / Non-Exempt Equipment: Company-provided equipment Overview Envocore is seeking a detail-oriented Project Documentation Assistant to support construction project teams by organizing, managing, and maintaining critical documentation. This fully remote role is ideal for someone with strong administrative skills and experience working with construction documentation platforms. The Project Documentation Assistant plays a key role in ensuring project records are accurate, organized, and accessible throughout the lifecycle of construction projects. This includes tracking submittals, maintaining documentation systems, and supporting project closeout processes. The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable working in a remote environment, and experienced with document control processes within the construction industry. Responsibilities - Manage and organize project documentation, including submittals and closeout documents - Maintain accurate records for construction projects within documentation management systems - Review, edit, and manage PDFs and other project files - Coordinate documentation updates with project managers and internal teams - Track and maintain submittal logs and documentation workflows - Ensure documentation is properly filed, accessible, and compliant with project standards - Assist with document control and version management across active construction projects
Job Requirements
- Ability to pass the screening process (Background check, MVR, and 10-panel drug screen)
- Comfortable working remotely with a dedicated home office setup
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365
- Strong PDF editing and document management skills
- Experience using construction documentation software such as Procore, Bluebeam, or similar platforms
- Experience managing submittal and closeout documentation for construction projects
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
