Program Manager – North America Policy

• Support the US & Canada Campaign Director to develop strategy and analysis presentations, track deliverables, and measure/report the priorities of the US & Canada policy team • Help develop and implement all needed processes, ensuring consistency across all regions of the team • Facilitate clear lines of communication between local campaign teams and global leadership • Collaborate with each campaign region to deliver regular reporting and tracking (e.g. weekly reports, strategic campaign plans, quarterly policy reports (QPRs) and to ensure campaign achievements and milestones are being properly recognized and communicated • Ensure individual projects and initiatives are executed according to strategic priorities • Lead strategic initiatives that might require internal and external engagement/alignment • Identify operational roadblocks and bottlenecks – and best practices – making recommendations for process improvements that will increase campaigns’ efficiency across markets and regions • Develop and maintain a culture of collaboration and innovation among and between the global campaign teams. • Some administrative duties will be required including, but not limited to, calendaring, preparing for meetings, assisting with anticipating and prioritizing of the day, scheduling travel, and processing expenses • Drafting presentations, reports and conducting research on housing topics, policy points of view papers, and performing ROI assessments.
Job Requirements
- 5 years of US or Canadian political and/or policy experience. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- Proven ability to execute cross-functional projects with stakeholders at different levels
- Exceptional organizational skills. Detail-oriented and process-driven - with an ability to drive clarity in complex environments
- Understanding of strategy development and how to connect high level strategies to operational excellence
- Cool, calm and collected at all times - and especially when faced with significant pressure
- A natural coalition-builder and collaborator - able to build and maintain strong working relationships with peers with diverse perspectives
- Able to distill complex problems into actionable plans and drive outcomes
- First-rate communication skills - written and oral - in a wide range of formal and informal contexts.
