Role Description The Senior Electrical Designer is responsible for developing detailed electrical system designs for industrial, automation, building, or machinery applications. This role collaborates closely with engineers, architects, and cross-functional project teams to deliver high-quality, code-compliant electrical designs. - Collaborate with project teams to understand design requirements and objectives - Develop electrical system layouts, schematics, and wiring diagrams - Design electrical systems for: - Industrial machinery - Building systems - Automation systems - Other electrical applications - Specify and select electrical components, materials, and equipment - Utilize CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks Electrical, etc.) to create and modify drawings - Maintain proficiency in design software and stay current with enhancements - Perform drawing updates and revisions as required - Ensure designs comply with applicable electrical codes and industry standards (NEC, IEEE, etc.) - Review designs for adherence to regulatory and safety requirements - Prepare and maintain organized documentation including: - Electrical drawings - Specifications - Bills of Materials (BOMs) - Prepare technical reports and project documentation - Perform quality checks and peer reviews to ensure accuracy and completeness - Work with engineers, architects, vendors, and plant staff to integrate electrical systems - Address design-related issues and provide effective solutions - Support project stakeholders throughout the design lifecycle Qualifications - Associate degree in Electrical Design, Drafting Technology, or related field - 7+ years of experience as an Electrical Designer or similar role - Proficiency in CAD software for electrical design - Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and design practices - Knowledge of electrical codes and standards (NEC, IEEE, etc.) - Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Requirements - Experience with PLC programming and control systems - Experience in industrial or power-related environments - Experience working directly with plant operations teams

• Carry out reactive maintenance repairs across various buildings. • Assess and order parts and equipment necessary for individual tasks. • Work to recognised industry standards at all times. • Participate in flexible working hours and out-of-hours emergency cover as required by the contract. • Undertake training as required to perform the duties of the role, including health and safety courses and further trade development. • Assist other trades as/when required. • Update/close completed Reactive & PPM tasks on our CAFM System. • Ensure engineering standards are maintained to maximise efficient operation and reliability of plant. • Ensure company QA and site procedures are adhered to in all aspects. • Ensure that both Client and Integral’s Health and Safety procedures are followed at all times. • Inspect the condition of services and proactively deal with call outs/repairs as required. • Attend emergencies, inside and outside of normal working hours. • Keep and maintain all company issued tools in a safe and working condition. • Complete on-site Method Statements and Risk Assessments as necessary.
