Job Description The position is primarily responsible for oversight of risk and compliance programs within Corporate Real Estate. Individual would interact/collaborate with enterprise risk management functions, maintain/update program requirements, communicate program and enterprise requirements to team members, coordinate training of CRE team members on compliance and risk management requirements. Responsible for performing first line of defense self assessments to include validating program requirements are being followed and perform data integrity assessment to confirm accuracy and completeness. Primary responsibilities - Oversee risk and compliance programs impacting CRE including maintenance of program requirements, communicate requirements and train. - Complete first line of defense self assessments to include validating program requirements are followed and performing data integrity assessment to confirm accuracy and completeness of data - Compile standard management reporting to demonstrate compliance with policy requirement and conduct quality checks of data to confirm completeness and accuracy - Collaborate with external and internal partners to ensure programs are managed and governed - Collaborate with CRE team members to gather, identify and resolve issues - Analyze data and ensure data integrity of contract information - Communicate with various levels within CRE, within U.S. Bank and with outside third parties - Establish project deadlines and manage to the deadlines - Provide periodic metric reports in a concise, understandable manner - Train CRE team members on applicable applications that support compliance with programs managed by CRE. - Satisfy requests from second line of defense for risks and controls managed by CRE - Oversee CRE Team Member compliance with Enterprise required training - Conduct required ongoing performance management and verifications with CRE team members and vendors - Research and resolve audit and risk findings as needed - Oversee system access of users according to program requirements Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience - Eight to ten years of experience in project management activities Preferred Skills/Experience - 3 - 5 years experience with contracts or risk management within the financial industry - Bachelor's degree - Experience with Archer software - Strong PC skills (Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint) - Strong organization & time management skills - Demonstrated good oral and written communications and presentation skills - Ability to listen and understand user requirements - Results driven and demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage day-to-day tasks with minimal supervision - Detail oriented If there’s anything we can do to accommodate a disability during any portion of the application or hiring process, please refer to our disability accommodations for applicants.
