Senior Electrical Engineer

• Develop and maintain electrical hardware design(s). • Collaborate with the cross functional development team to accomplish project deliverables. • Perform electrical circuit design, circuit simulation, and layout with Altium Designer. • Perform schematic and PCB Layout review of team member designs. • Manage and develop BOMs with emphasis on High Volume, Low Cost designs. • Develop, document, and validate electrical designs which meet functional, quality, reliability, manufacturability, and safety requirements. • Resolve and track technical issues in Altium A365 and project management tools (JIRA). • Review and qualify alternative electrical parts during engineering validation and development stages and support sustaining engineering in qualifying alternative parts after production release. • Work cross-functionally to ensure electrical design meets EMC compliance requirements. • Operate as a self-motivated professional who is proactive in finding solutions to existing and new challenges.

Job Requirements

  • MS or BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • 10+ years of experience in electrical design with consumer or commercial products, or similar.
  • Direct experience designing electrical systems with:
  • Microcontrollers, SOCs, memory devices, power systems, high speed transceivers, and LTE/WiFi/BT/GPS devices.
  • Various serial interfaces such as I2C, I2S, SPI, UART, USB, MIPI, SDI and SLVS-EC signals.
  • Proficient in Altium and Altium 365 Platform.
  • Familiar with EMC Compliance standards and certification process (CE EMC, FCC).
  • Proven ability in independently analyzing root cause, complex design debugging, and problem solving with minimal guidance.
