Role Description EGS is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer to lead and support complex electrical engineering projects in North Las Vegas, NV, to support our DOE client. This is a long term contract position and comes with top competitive rates and great benefits. Local candidates preferred but will consider remote with travel as needed to site. Qualified candidates must be willing to travel to Las Vegas every other week for the first two months and then a minimum of once a month (for one week) thereafter if working remotely. MUST BE US CITIZEN - Develop Functional Requirements Documents (FRDs) and/or Project Requirements Specifications (PRS) for electrical projects - Support the electrical component of building, utility, or equipment projects - Perform project/task breakdowns and identify requirements (functional, non-functional, operational requirements) - Develop conceptual visualizations and illustrations of layouts, site plans, and other perspective views - Work with integrated project teams (IPTs) and stakeholders to capture input - Research and develop using existing processes and templates - Perform FRD/PRS reviews and incorporate comments - Finalize documents for approvals Qualifications - A minimum of 15 years' experience in design, estimating, specification preparation, construction document preparation, related phases of engineering, and field experience in the inspection of construction projects - Experience with projects including power upgrades, replacements, distribution system upgrades, charging stations, transformer replacements, substations, etc. - Broad base of experience to support all power projects - Working knowledge of Federal (including Department of Energy Orders), State, and Local codes and standards applicable to electrical engineering design - Nevada Professional Engineer License is preferred - Familiarity with MicroStation computer aided drafting applications is required - Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering Preferred Qualifications - Previous DOE/NNSA work experience

Role Description EGS is seeking an experienced Senior/Principal Structural Engineer to independently develop and review calculations, drawings, construction specifications, and specialized analysis; gather, correlate and interpret technical data; and independently perform technical analysis and engineering studies to develop solutions to projects to support our DOE customer in Las Vegas, NV. Local candidates preferred. Remote candidates will be considered with 1 trip/month to site. - Conduct construction document reviews as required. - Plan, organize, and coordinate structural engineering and multi-disciplined team/design projects while engaged in the planning, design, and construction phases of engineering projects. - Prepare and review calculations, drawings, and specifications relating to seismic and wind analyses, foundation design, structural framing analyses and design, and bracing analyses and design. - Experience in renovating/modifying existing facilities is required. - Familiarity with MicroStation computer aided drafting applications is required. Qualifications - Bachelor of Science in Civil/Structural Engineering. - Minimum of 15 years' experience in design, estimating, specification preparation, construction document preparation, related phases of engineering, and field experience in the inspection of construction projects. - Nevada Professional Engineer License, or ability to obtain through alternate state reciprocity, desired. Requirements - Working knowledge of federal, state, and local codes and standards applicable to structural engineering design is required. - A Professional Engineer license is preferred. - Experience with DOE sites and nuclear facilities is preferred.
