About the Role: You will be a critical member of Lyra’s Commercial Contracts Team, primarily responsible for driving commercial transactions to fulfill Lyra’s mission of bringing mental health solutions to employers nationwide. This is a remote position, but candidates must be physically located within the United States. Responsibilities - Independent Drafting & Negotiation: Lead the end-to-end negotiation of commercial contracts, including but not limited to service agreements, confidentiality agreements, data privacy and security agreements, and partnership agreements. - Bespoke Contract Creation: Create ad-hoc agreements and custom language from scratch for unique partnerships where standard templates do not apply. - Strategic Advisory: Identify legal and business risks in real-time and effectively communicate "plain English" advice to sales, customer relations, and operational teams. - Process Innovation: Familiarity and enthusiasm for using AI to improve our contracting process and how it can contribute to projects aimed at process improvements to scale our operations. - Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal experts to ensure agreements comply with healthcare laws, data security standards, and company policies and collaborate with leadership and internal stakeholders to define/drive discussions with clients and prospects Qualifications - Education: Law degree from an accredited law school and membership in a state bar in good standing. - Experience: 5+ years of legal experience (in-house, law firm, or a combination of both.) - Transactional Expertise: Proven track record of negotiating complex technology and/or healthcare sales contracts with large corporate entities. The anticipated annual base salary range for this full-time position is $134,000 to $184,000. The base range is determined by role and level, and placement within the range will depend on a number of job-related factors, including but not limited to your skills, qualifications, experience and location.
