Professional Learning Manager

Newsela

• Execute high-impact professional learning sessions that result in measurable product adoption and maintain exceptional customer satisfaction • Deliver professional learning sessions across formats (live virtual, asynchronous, and in-person). • Tailor session content based on detailed knowledge of dedicated district accounts, customer needs, and internal user engagement data. • Inspire the audience via compelling delivery, engagement tactics, and high-quality resources. • Collaborate with Sales and Customer Success Managers to share customer wins and opportunities for improved relationship strength. • Design, revise, and scale professional learning materials to meet specific customer instructional goals and align with product engagement objectives. • Gather and analyze customer needs to ensure session content is tailored and scalable. • Represent the Professional Learning team's perspective in cross-functional working groups and special projects to inform Go-to-Market strategies and product initiatives.

Job Requirements

  • 3+ years of K-12 teaching expertise with at least 5 years of experience in education
  • Experience developing and leading professional learning.
  • Available to travel up to 30% of the time year round, and up to 50% of the time during high-volume delivery seasons.
  • Build genuine relationships with customers, and strive to deliver a personalized customer experience to each client in your portfolio.
  • Comfortable re-calibrating your approach based on customer needs.
  • A data-driven decision-maker with pedagogical knowledge to inform customer interactions and professional development strategy.
  • Not afraid to think outside the box to help educators break old habits and infuse Newsela’s product suite into their daily instruction.
  • While not required, a Masters degree related to the field of education is a plus.
