cFocus Software seeks a Application Developer II to join our program supporting the Executive Office of the President (EOP). This position is remote. This position a TS/SCI clearance. Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related technical field. - 4+ years of experience in application or software development. - Experience developing backend services or applications in a federal or regulated environment. - Familiarity with ETL processes, data validation, and comparison logic. - Experience working with structured and semi-structured data sources. - Understanding of secure coding practices and vulnerability remediation. - Experience working in Agile or hybrid Agile development environments. - Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills. Duties: - Compare the number of records and number of bytes of data, in aggregate, for a specific data type to identify any discrepancies - Compare the number of records and number of bytes of data, considering focused data segments (i.e., drill-down) for a specific data type to identify any discrepancies - Compare specific data points or attributes for a specific data type to identify any discrepancies - Execute audits for each data type (e.g., photos, emails, files, SharePoint lists, etc.) maintained within the OBS platform - Evaluate and identify deviations from permissions and access management expectations for OBS, data audit reports, and executive dashboards - Compare active accounts, Microsoft Exchange records, file system records, OBS, and other data sources, to ensure that records are properly tagged in the OBS platform based on Active Directory criteria as provided by Government - Maintain a complete and accurate log of all audit executions, including number of discrepancies and details of each such discrepancy, in machine-readable form - Proactively communicate through methods approved by the Government the results of any audit discrepancies - Review results of audits to identify trends and potential remediations and preventative measures to improve subsequent results - Identify any anomalies; such as failures of data types to be found into OBS on the expected schedule - Maintain a complete and accurate log of all non-resolvable discrepancies, to include the reason for non-remediation, in order to share the findings with the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) as a part of Presidential transition - Provide process documentation to describe the end-to-end methodology for managing data verifications and validations, including the automated stages, as well as any manual interventions, escalations, and resolutions; schedule of execution; method of execution; and related pertinent technical and non-technical details. - Support designing, coding, testing, and debugging software applications. - Write basic code, conducting unit tests, and supporting application enhancements.
