Sales Manager
Dotmatics
• Weekly and quarterly reporting in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system for sales activities and pipeline; prepare quarterly sales summaries. • Coordination with sales teams across other geographies for global accounts • Find new customers for Protein Metrics, with a particular focus on Enterprise deployments, by establishing and leveraging partnerships with MS vendors in the region • Manage current customer base and ensure expansion for Protein Metrics solutions • Assist Marketing in identifying gaps in information or knowledge of Protein Metrics in the market. • Ensure best practices are applied at all levels in each account; maintain high level business contacts in parallel with scientific contacts with the Customer Success team. • Coordination with Customer Success teams to ensure that Demonstration requests, Deployment requests, and Pilot programs are all delivered on time. • Ensure feedback of customer requests to Product Management for actionable improvements to the products • Act as a resource to our customers to help build ROI justification for Protein Metrics software • Coordinate with Marketing to support marketing initiatives (conference and webinar support, business development, etc.)
Job Requirements
- 10 years experience with Life Sciences software sales, both Enterprise and Desktop or equivalent experience
- Experience selling to enterprise level customers in California and Southwest US region
- Proven track record of achieving 1mil+ annual quota
- Experience negotiating and selling deals larger than 50k
- Experience with protein mass spectrometry applications in biopharma and proteomics (large molecule preferred)
- Proven experience acquiring and selling to customers using various sales methodologies
- Familiarity with Biopharma industry
- Comfortable with a matrixed working environment

• As the Area Sales Manager, you will report into the Regional Business Manager, executing all aspects of sales, market development, and strategic planning for company products. • Engage with health care professionals involved in the treatment of renal patients in key practice settings, office, hospital, and dialysis. • Daily travel and work within your assigned territory boundaries.
