Role Description We are looking for a skilled and motivated professional to join our Data team and help shape the future of Syncron. This team plays a key role in Syncron’s transformation into a data-driven organization, designing data products, implementing data pipelines, and developing tools for efficient processing of large data volumes. You will work in a small international team, using a cutting-edge technology stack, on initiatives central to the company’s strategy. - Implement new functionalities in line with modern data engineering trends - Enhance data pipelines and develop tools for efficient large-scale processing - Participate in development scope planning, issue prioritization, and code reviews Qualifications - Good command of Java 17+, standard design patterns, and Spring - Experience in Python - Ability to write clean, readable, and maintainable code - Hands-on experience with common AWS services - Familiarity with build tools, CI/CD, version control, relational databases - Good communication and teamwork skills Requirements - Interest in DevOps, knowledge of GitHub, Terraform - Experience with Big Data processing or data engineering is a strong plus Benefits - Opportunity to work in a high-performing, cross-functional team using Agile and Scrum - Opportunity to take part in the development of off-the-shelf products - Possibility to cooperate within a multinational team — not only from Poland, but also from Sweden, the US, and India - Personal development plan, as well as mentoring and guidance from senior engineers - Friendly and supportive environment — we play pool and board games (mostly online these days), juggle, go to the mountains, go kayaking, and organize charity activities - Fringe benefits (private medical insurance, Multisport card, life insurance) - Flexible working model
Job Requirements
- Good command of Java 17+, standard design patterns, and Spring
- Experience in Python
