The Opportunity Manage the JBT Marel product portfolio for the Prepared Foods Segment in the Western/Pacific Coast US region - California, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Nevada, Arizona and Utah. The JBT Marel Prepared Foods segment covers food processors producing RTE (Ready to Eat) Cooked Proteins, Sausages/Hot Dogs, Deli Meats, Fried Appetizers and Snacks, Bakery Products, Pizza, Alternative Proteins, and, Frozen Vegetables, Cheese, Entree Meals and others. The Account Manager will manage relationships of our JBT Marel Prepared Foods customers in their designated region and increase market share and overall sales to those customers. Be a primary customer contact for New Equipment sales and support the Customer Care Service team and be accountable for customer satisfaction as it relates to both New Equipment and Service / Aftermarket sales. Employ JBT Marel technical resources (personnel and facilities) to provide productivity solutions to assigned customers. Attend major industry trade shows and setting up customer events. Responsibilities: - Create a territorial plan for assigned territory and any assigned strategic customers. - You will achieve growth and expand JBT Marel product mix to existing customers. - Negotiate and minimize order discounting to customers. - You will use Salesforce CRM to forecast sales revenue for assigned accounts and territories. - Maintain and reference a sales prospect list with project leads. - Use phone and email to communicate with customers and management. - Demonstrate product value using marketing materials and sales tools to emphasize the features and payback of JBT Marel and our product portfolio. - Manage the customer's perception of JBT Marel as the premier food processing solutions provider in the industry. Be accountable for JBT Marel customer satisfaction as it relates to New Equipment and assisting Customer Care Service. - Stay aware and influence the effects of the JBT Marel Customer Care Service group as they relate to assigned customer's experience. - Communicate with field service to understand operational issues that may affect new equipment sales. Work with field service to resolve those issues. - Grow New Equipment sales by accompanying assigned customers to Apex NC, Des Moines IA, and Sandusky OH Technology Centers. At these centers, demonstrate the yield improvement, operational savings, and hygiene benefits of JBT Marel equipment through product testing. - Identify revenue generating opportunities to deploy training, field service and application services to improve customer's operational efficiencies. - Determine what areas of training will facilitate accomplishment of essential duties. - You will have a Financial Responsibility of approximately $10 Million Annually of New Equipment and Tipper Tie Sales. Qualifications: - 4-year University degree in a Technical field, such as Engineering or Science. Alternatively, a degree in a Food-related major, like Agriculture, Food, or Meat Science, is also acceptable. Additionally, 7 years of experience working with JBT Marel food processing equipment at a Prepared Foods processor is also desirable. - Collect and analyze appropriate data to determine strength of opportunities and best use of resources - Must indicate demonstrated effectiveness in: Managing Experience balancing multiple sales opportunities under critical time constraints across a diverse group of people. Experience establishing communication and engagement with prospects with all levels of employees. Who We Are: Cogent Biosciences is a publicly traded biotechnology company focused on developing novel precision therapies to treat a broad range of patients with unmet medical needs. Cogent’s lead program, bezuclastinib, is designed to selectively and potently inhibit exon 17 mutations found within the KIT receptor tyrosine kinase, including KIT D816V. KIT D816V is responsible for driving a rare and serious condition called Systemic Mastocytosis, and exon 17 mutations are also found in patients with gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GIST), a type of cancer with strong dependence on oncogenic KIT signaling. Bezuclastinib has exhibited promising initial data across all three trials: APEX in AdvSM, SUMMIT in NonAdvSM and PEAK in GIST, including an encouraging safety profile across 600+ patients in single agent and combination dosing. The Role: The Clinical Account Manager (CAM) will serve as a critical member of the Customer Engagement Team and will have an exciting opportunity within Cogent to potentially launch Bezuclastinib in multiple indications across three disease states. The Clinical Account Manager will be responsible for meeting sales targets and utilizing all available resources while tailoring them to meet the customer's needs through a deep understanding of their requirements. Behaviors that are critical for success in this role are collaboration, communication, planning, relationship building, and the ability to execute tactical initiatives and provide timely feedback. CAMs will report directly to the Regional Business Director.
