Social Media Manager, Content Manager

J. Flowers Health Institute

• Develop and execute a social media strategy that amplifies the work of the Meadows Institute. • Execute effective use of video and multimedia storytelling for a variety of audiences. • Build and manage a content calendar that leverages the Meadows Institute’s website and social media platforms. • Establish clear Key Performance Indicators and performance goals to evaluate the success of the Meadows Institute’s communications strategy and monitor analytics to refine strategy and identify new opportunities. • Write original content for the Meadows Institute, including explanatory pieces, FAQs, one-pagers, blog posts, and program briefs. • Meet regularly with internal teams and stakeholders to gain insight into upcoming work and events. • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Communication Studies, Journalism, or related field.
  • A minimum of two years of relevant experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a proficiency with video and multimedia production.
  • Deep understanding of social culture, platforms, algorithms, and storytelling.
  • Ability to translate complex policy initiatives and clinical work into a clear, engaging narrative and visual content for external audiences.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with colleagues.
  • Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Capacity to think strategically, critically, and respond analytically.
  • Flexibility in working with new issues, topics, and approaches.
