The ServiceNow SAM Integration Development Manager is a senior technical role responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining integrations between ServiceNow's Software Asset Management (SAM) module and external data sources in support of the Department of Veterans Affairs. In addition to hands-on development, this individual serves as the technical lead for a team of SAM Developers and subcontractor staff, providing direction, mentorship, and quality oversight across all integration workstreams. Location: Remote within the US supporting EST working hours. Responsibilities: Team Leadership & Mentorship (SAM Lead Developer) - Serve as the technical lead for a team of SAM Developers and subcontract staff, providing day-to-day work direction, code reviews, and technical guidance. - Establish and enforce development standards, coding best practices, and integration design patterns across the team. - Mentor junior and mid-level developers, facilitating professional growth, knowledge sharing, and skills development in ServiceNow SAM capabilities. - Coordinate with the Program Manager to assign tasks, track progress, and communicate risks and issues related to integration workstreams. - Conduct sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospective participation within an Agile/SAFe delivery framework. - Support Kentro and subcontractor onboarding, performance monitoring, and technical oversight in accordance with contract requirements. - This role will be responsible for overseeing 5 direct Kentro reports and 5 subcontractor staff. This is subject to change based off project needs. API Development & Integration - Design, develop, and maintain RESTful API integrations between ServiceNow SAM Pro and external data sources (e.g., publisher portals, CMDB feeds, procurement systems, entitlement databases). - Build and manage integration endpoints, authentication mechanisms (OAuth2, API keys, certificates), and data pipelines within ServiceNow. - Develop MID Server configurations and Integration Hub spokes/flows to support bi-directional data exchange with VA enterprise systems. - Ensure API integrations comply with VA security standards, including FISMA, FedRAMP, and VA Handbook 6500 requirements. Data Aggregation & Normalization - Aggregate software inventory data from disparate sources including SCCM/MECM, Flexera, Active Directory, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). - Implement data normalization routines using the ServiceNow Content Library and custom normalization rules to ensure consistent publisher, product, and version mapping. - Develop and maintain transformation scripts (JavaScript, GlideScript) to map source data to ServiceNow SAM data models. - Collaborate with VA data stewards and asset managers to define normalization standards and resolve data conflicts. Automated Data Import Workflows - Build and manage scheduled import jobs, Import Set transforms, and JDBC/LDAP data sources within ServiceNow to automate recurring data ingestion. - Design robust error handling, alerting, and retry logic for import workflows to ensure data integrity and continuity. - Create and maintain data reconciliation processes to detect and remediate discrepancies between discovery data, entitlement records, and the ServiceNow CMDB. - Document all automated workflows and maintain runbooks to support operational sustainment and knowledge transfer. Integration Testing & Validation - Develop and execute integration test plans covering unit, functional, regression, and end-to-end testing scenarios for all data pipelines and API connections. - Validate data completeness, accuracy, and consistency after each import cycle or integration event. - Conduct performance testing and optimization of integration processes to meet VA throughput and latency requirements. - Coordinate with VA test teams and change management processes to validate changes prior to production deployment. - Maintain integration test documentation and traceability matrices in alignment with VA Section 508 and compliance requirements.
Job Requirements
- Proven ability to lead technical teams, conduct code reviews, and mentor staff.
- Demonstrated experience building and maintaining REST API integrations within the ServiceNow platform.
- Active ServiceNow Certifications: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
- Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust clearance.
- Must be US Citizen or Green Card Holder.
- Master’s degree in computer science, business, management, information systems, engineering or related field (10 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education) with at least 10 years focused on SAM Pro or ITAM module implementations.
- Proficiency in ServiceNow scripting: GlideScript, JavaScript, Business Rules, Script Includes, and Transform Maps.
- Experience with ServiceNow Integration Hub, MID Server configuration, and Import Sets.
- Working knowledge of software asset data sources (e.g., SCCM, Flexera, Ivanti, Tanium, Lansweeper).
- Experience with data normalization concepts and ServiceNow Content Library (SWLM/Software Normalization).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical VA stakeholders.
- Preferred:
- Active ServiceNow certifications: Certified Application Developer (CAD), Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS), ITIL Foundation, or ITAM Professional.
- Experience with VA enterprise systems (VistA, CDW, VA OIT infrastructure) or other federal agency environments.
- Familiarity with Agile/SAFe methodologies and tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.
- Experience integrating with cloud licensing platforms (Microsoft 365 Admin Center, AWS License Manager, Oracle LMS).
- Experience working within DevSecOps pipelines and CI/CD environments for ServiceNow deployments (e.g., ServiceNow DevOps, GitHub Actions).
- Familiarity with federal IT compliance frameworks: FISMA, FedRAMP, NIST 800-53.

You will be responsible for driving customer acquisition and strategic partnerships across the Americas commercial ecosystem—spanning Earth observation, IoT, edge computing, technology demonstration, and beyond. - Build and grow a pipeline of commercial customers across the Americas, with particular focus on the U.S. market. - Cultivate long-term relationships with key stakeholders across commercial operators, integrators, and technology companies deploying payloads on Loft's infrastructure. - Identify and negotiate strategic partnerships that accelerate Loft's ability to deliver space infrastructure-as-a-service at scale. - Shape go-to-market strategy, collaborating with Loft's global BD team to localize and sharpen positioning for the Americas market. - Influence Loft's product roadmap by working closely with technical and product teams to ensure customer requirements inform platform development. - Attend and speak at U.S. and Americas space industry events, supporting Loft's brand presence across the region. Qualifications - 10+ years of sales, business development, or strategic partnerships experience in the commercial space sector, with a strong track record selling to commercial customers. - Demonstrated success capturing new business across the U.S. commercial space landscape, including managing complex sales cycles and building lasting customer relationships. - Experience selling complex technical solutions in space or adjacent technology sectors. - Experience leading and/or contributing to proposals and contract negotiations. - Strong knowledge of space systems—satellite subsystems, launch, mission design—sufficient to earn the trust of technical buyers. - Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; able to represent Loft credibly. - Passion for the space industry and a drive to be part of a fast-paced, mission-driven team. Requirements - Established commercial network across Earth observation, communications, IoT, and/or technology demonstration segments in the U.S. and broader Americas. - Relationships within the U.S. civil space ecosystem (NASA, NOAA, FFRDCs, national labs, major primes). - Experience winning proposals for spacecraft development programs. - Fluency in additional languages (Spanish, Portuguese, or European languages a plus). - Willingness to travel for customer meetings, conferences, and industry events.
