Job Description: We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and trustworthy Legal Assistant to join our team. You will be responsible for assisting with discovery, drafting motions and pleadings, communication with courts, and managing scheduling and calendaring. This role requires excellent written communication skills, impeccable spelling, strong organization, and a high level of confidentiality. If you enjoy a structured environment, take pride in accuracy, and thrive when supporting attorneys in litigation and administrative tasks, this role is perfect for you. Schedule: Monday to Friday 08:00 a.m. to 05:00 p.m. CST Monthly compensation: 1,150 to 1,220 USD Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - Assist with discovery requests and responses. - Ensure all documents are properly formatted, free of errors, and filed on time. - Communicate with courts regarding filings, dates, procedures, and updates. - Draft motions, pleadings, and routine legal documents with precision. - Serve as a helpful and informed point of contact for clients and court staff. - Answer incoming phone calls professionally and promptly. - Manage attorney calendars, deadlines, and court dates. Requirements: - Fluent in English (excellent writing required) - Exceptional spelling and grammar - Strong legal writing and communication skills - Ability to draft legal documents accurately - Experience with legal scheduling and calendaring - Knowledge of court communications and procedures Work Shift: Languages: English, Spanish Ready to dive in?
