The Redesign Group
Role Overview The Redesign Group is seeking a hands-on Implementation Engineer to deliver post-sales deployment of infrastructure, virtualization, and data center solutions for enterprise clients. This role is focused on bringing architected solutions into production — working directly with customers to install, migrate, configure, and operationalize modern infrastructure environments across on-premises and hybrid platforms. You’ll partner closely with Solution Architects, Engineering, and Project Management teams to execute successful customer implementations across a variety of industries and technical environments. Key Responsibilities - Deploy and configure infrastructure and virtualization solutions in customer environments - Execute on-site and remote implementations across enterprise data centers and COLO facilities - Perform system installation, migration, integration, and troubleshooting activities - Collaborate with customer IT teams to ensure successful deployment and handoff - Support infrastructure upgrades, virtualization deployments, and workload migrations - Document implementation outcomes and provide technical knowledge transfer Required Experience - 2–5 years in an MSP, VAR, ISP, NOC, or enterprise infrastructure environment - Strong hands-on experience supporting data center or virtualization deployments - Comfortable working directly with customers in fast-paced implementation engagements - Ability to operate independently while managing travel-based project work Technical Background Core Experience - VMware administration and virtualization deployment - VM migrations (P2V / V2V) - Network troubleshooting (switching, DNS, DHCP, connectivity) - CLI experience with enterprise networking platforms (Cisco, Dell, or similar) Preferred - Advanced networking (routing, iSCSI, Fibre Channel, firewalls) - VMware NSX, Hyper-V, or Nutanix environments - Multi-vendor networking platforms (Cisco NX-OS, Arista, Juniper, Aruba, Dell) Ideal Candidate - Customer-first mindset with strong troubleshooting instincts - Enjoys hands-on delivery and solving real-world infrastructure challenges - Thrives in dynamic implementation environments - Interested in growing toward senior engineering or architecture roles Benefits We offer a comprehensive benefits package which may include: - Medical Insurance - Dental Insurance - Vision Insurance - 401(k) retirement plan with company match (annual dollar cap applied) - Flexible time off plan - 15 paid holidays - Sick leave (amount varies by state requirements and is at least the minimum required by any state) - Short-term and long-term disability - Life insurance - Paid parental leave We’re an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer and welcome applicants from all backgrounds.
