Role Description The Retirement Plan Consultant serves as the main contact and compliance expert for employer-sponsored retirement plans, including 401(k), 403(b), profit-sharing, and Pooled Employer Plans (PEPs). This role ensures regulatory compliance while providing consulting and client service for both single-employer and pooled plans. - Act as the primary consultant for plan sponsors and participating employers in PEPs. - Provide guidance on plan design, compliance testing, and fiduciary best practices. - Perform annual compliance testing and prepare Form 5500 filings. - Oversee onboarding and administration of adopting employers in PEPs. - Collaborate with Pooled Plan Providers, recordkeepers, and custodians. - Advise on plan mergers, terminations, and compliance corrections. - Stay current on legislative and regulatory updates impacting retirement plans. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred. - 4–8 years of experience in retirement plan administration with a TPA or recordkeeper. - Experience managing both single-employer and pooled employer plans (PEPs). - Professional certifications such as QKA, QPA, CPC, APA, APR are preferred. - Proficiency with Relius, FTWilliam, ASC, and Microsoft Excel. Requirements - Strong understanding of regulatory compliance in retirement plans. - Expertise in compliance testing software. - Exceptional customer service skills. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $33.65/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms. Job Requirements
